“Great beer, staff, ambiance, food trucks, location (near Confusion Corner) with free parking AAAANNNDD they partner with local noveleer and writer of stories and wrongs, Sheldon Birnie, to produce a night of PROSE AND POETRY. Check the Sookram's Brewery web site for DEETS. Indoors or out (nice patio) it's a superb place to quaff and quest those with a mighty quill. Okay, that last bit quite got away on me, but you get the idea! (Photo by Matt Joudrey of At Bay Press; a Sookram's Literary Moment.)“
“Perfect brewery. Owner run and a real passion project. From my limited time there it showed it is absolutely a local hub but still a must see for visitors.
Added bonuses of a great pinball parlor with a couple classic machines as well as self serve popcorn.
A short walk from most airport hotels a can't miss for any stopover in the city.
A complete treasure.“
“Lovely beers to try, an amazing patio, the friendliest staff and gender neutral bathrooms! I will definitely come back. oh and the soft pretzel with mustard was the best!“
“Great place, great selection. Try the pineapple beer! 🍍🍺“
“Always on the lookout for new local craft beers to try. Found the Time Trap IPA at Parcel Pizza and 👍👍 light, crisp and easy drinking. Lovely blend of citrus flavour and for a 50 IBU was not overly powered by hops. Palate specific I know 😂. Looking forward to trying the other two brews and An eventual tap room. Their website lists places to purchase cans or enjoy at a local restaurant.“
“I was looking over the craft beer at the MLCC for a dark beer. The sales rep recommended the Good Neighbor Espresso Martini Stout.
Curious I bought 2 to try.
AMAZING! Great flavour, smooth, not too heavy and all around a great beer. Was really surprised it was a local beer. I will definitely be buying this again“
“I enjoyed a flight of wine while visiting. The atmosphere is fun, and the employees are friendly. They also have an excellent sour beer collection.“
“Pizza and apps are pretty good. I’d go for the pizza alone. Could use more non-alc options. Can get loud and crowded and the bench seating is an obstacle to get in and out of if you’re with a crowd and in the middle. Good food and venue though“
“I've been going to Barn Hammer for experimental beers since they opened, and am rarely disappointed. My tastes lean toward stouts, which means fall and winter are when I'll frequent the place most. The space is open, the tables are spacious, and the bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. We also rented kegs for our recent wedding and the process was just as straightforward and positive as all my in person experiences. It was an easy form to request the kegs, organize pick up and drop off (which was the most streamlined process possible) that it was absolutely worth driving across the city during rush hour for my beloved Grandpa's Sweater (and Final Draft Lager) and hauling it out of town so we could enjoy it on our big day. Looking forward to the results of their patio refresh and whatever else they have up their sleeve!“
“Good beer, nice patio and vibe.“

“The food and the ambiance. Kudos to the server for the great service even when he seemed to be working the floor by himself. Lou Boisjoli“
“Wolseley Kombucha day is my favorite day of the week!
They have a truly unique and superior product that has the ability to transform you from the inside out. This beverage is not only delicious, but it is genuinely good for you and therapeutic. If this sounds like a traumatization, let me share more. :)
I started drinking Wolseley Kombucha a couple of years ago as I was looking for a healthy delicious beverage that I could sip and savour as a non-alcohol drinker. 🍹
I had tried and liked several other kombuchas however, it quickly became evident that Wolseley kombucha was many steps above any of these other products you can find in the store.
It is made with living cultures, real botanicals, is low in sugar, and always always gluten-free, which is a must for me.
I thought I had found the perfect beverage to enjoy and drink for pleasure but what happened next is the best part.
As the Wolseley kombucha and it’s living cultures began to heal and improve my gut health (which I already thought was pretty good), began to experience a significant decrease in the occurrence of migraine and related neurological symptoms that I had had to manage for most of my life. 🤯
To say the least, I’m a blown away by this product and the integrity of the company itself and I make weekly trips there to get my buch. The owner, the staff and everything about this company are quality through and through.
I highly recommend you try Wolseley kombucha and even incorporate it into your life on a daily basis.
Heading into do my weekly fill up!!“

“Well I do know what this place is. If you are an Arsenal fan ( or just a fan of Footie) you are warmly welcomed to watch the matches here.
All the fans I've seen/met are friendly, kind, and have a sense of humour when they read some nonsense about a wonderful bar.
Yes children are allowed. It's the direction of most establishments right now.
Devil May Care Brewing Company makes every effort to accomodate patrons regardless of difficulties they may have.
This is my favorite local in Winnipeg and I will continue to attend for Arsenal matches and any of many other fun nights.
If you're an asswad, go elsewhere.
Cheers 😁“
