Straight up, I relived that scene from Ratatouille when the food critic tastes ratatouille and it takes him back to his childhood.
I haven’t had duck since I was a kid but it was featured in their Valentine’s Day menu and I was like the ratatouille food critic with the duck taking me back to my childhood. The skin was crispy, the duck was moist, the beans and sausage paired so well.

We had the best time with our waiter Michael ( not the right spelling sorry ) tonight and had the most amazing meal with drinks and steak tartare and calamari among the best I’ve had in Winnipeg , my trout was cooked perfect not overdone which I’m afraid of when I order fish , my sister in law had the same and also perfect , my husbands steak frites was great my brother in law had the brisket which was melt in your mouth because he ate it all and he’s not a big eater
