We were looking forward to fish for supper but no more halibut and no pickerel. Heck, we didn't even get the cole slaw that usually comes with the meal. Ordered haddock. The coffee and French fries were delicious and that's all I have to say.
The seafood chowder is chock full of seafood; it's thick and delicious. I would highly recommend it. I shared the combo plate and there was certainly enough for two. The fries are really good. I will go back there.
We recently tried the Captains Table after a recommendation from a friend. We all ordered the Captains combo plates and I must say we were not disappointed. Our server was very attentive, pleasant and friendly. The food portions are huge and were cooked to perfection. The fish was fresh, the batter crispy, but moist and flaky inside and the shrimp cooked perfectly. Someone commented that the fish comes out of a box and this is utterly false.
