Ice cream servings are getting smaller and smaller! I was so disappointed yesterday. I ordered a large scoop, 3 flavors, and the scoops weren’t even proper balls!

Mr. Chaiban, This is not an appropriate way to treat clients, potential partners, or even people who simply walk into your business.
We reached out to you on LinkedIn and later visited you in person with a partnership opportunity to sponsor a community event supporting charitable causes. Unfortunately, the reaction we received was very disappointing. Our messages were ignored, and when we visited your store on Dec 27th around 5 pm, we were met by Josef Chaeban with a lack of basic courtesy. There was minimal engagement, little to no eye contact, and very limited communication, which made the interaction feel dismissive and unprofessional.
Respect should always come first. When individuals approach your business with sincere intentions to collaborate-especially for community and charitable initiatives-it is basic professional etiquette to acknowledge them and respond regardless if you willing to support or not! Believe me people not coming to your store to beg for money, you can easily say sorry I cannot support your event and we will be still happy, but the disrespect you showed is completely unacceptable!!
It is particularly disappointing considering that you have spoken publicly about running successful businesses. Strong businesses are built on respectful communication and proper client relations-both of which were lacking in this experience.
For these reasons, I would not recommend this store. Respect in business relationships should always come before anything else!

An authentic place to try different flavors of ice cream. Started by a dairy scientist and his wife, the place has acquired fame due to unique preparations. Abir Al Sham, a traditional Syrian recipe is a must try.

This used to be my favorite ice cream shop — I came here at least twice a week throughout the summer. Just this past week alone, I visited three times! I had been really looking forward to getting the banana chocolate nut flavor, which was sold out the first two times. So I called ahead to check, and when I heard it was available, I came in excitedly. However, I was extremely disappointed by what I received. As shown in the photo, the staff served me two scoops that together didn’t even add up to a proper single scoop. I’ve visited this shop nearly 30 times this summer and have never experienced anything like this. I paid the full price for what was barely even a serving. It felt very unfair and left me quite upset. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don’t think I can say this is my favorite ice cream shop anymore.

Their Abir Al sham is one of the most heavenly icecreams I've ever had in my life . Seriously!!! What is that? So beautiful and delicious! So flavourful ♥️♥️♥️♥️ lovely. Only thing is price point I paid $9.75 ~$10 for a medium icecream! (Incl of taxes)🙂( Well I don't blame them ..the CAD has lost a lot of its value anyway!)

Went to Chaeban for the first time yesterday. The ice cream was some of the best I've had, so I bought a pint to take home. I also purchased 3 imperial cookies from Zen Bakery, and one of them (that I know of so far) had a large piece of plastic baked into it. Lucky thing I noticed it and pulled it out of my mouth (see photo for size) before swallowing. This is a serious choking hazard. Just imagine if it had been a small child that tried to eat this cookie. The plastic in the cookie I was sold is the only reason why I can't give 5 stars.
An incredible experience. A great range of UNIQUE flavours, some of them really original. Prairie berry is my favorite but lots to choose from. They have some customer parking spaces on the back!

This place was recommended by our real estate agent and it did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and welcoming and very courteous. They kept the service line moving when one customer was indecisive by being proactive and communicating in a professional manner. Lots of flavours and seating. Just a heads up on the available parking if anyone has ambulatory issues though no fault on the business.
