First time I’ve been disappointed with the food here. We ordered a 9 piece bucket, fries,coleslaw and gravy for pickup. We were told it’ll be ready at 6:04, which it was. We live less than 5 minutes away from this location Got home chicken wasn’t very warm and extremely dry with a hard and dry skin. For $45.00 I was expecting it to be hot and have at least some moisture. For all the years we’ve eaten here I was highly disappointed in food quality Service was excellent no complaints there

Called ahead of time asking if the had room for 21 people, said they did. When we arrived they said they didn’t have room, meanwhile there’s over 7 tables available. We are Aboriginal people from the north and I believe we just experienced racial profiling and discrimination. Besides the service, food was good.

My bill came to $ 70.oo Opened my bags, they sent the pizza and our 12 pcs of chicken, but the fries, gravy and buns were missing, and the chicken was greasy, think they picked it up at Chicken Chef on Dale Blvd, never had any problems from the one on Portage Ave, always been good, anyway, called them back and told them what we were missing, we didn't want to wait for an hour for the missing order, so they refunded my 70.oo, which was great, they made great..

I ordered a 4 piece meal at takeout . The chicken was very dry and tasteless. I’m not sure if was sitting in a holding oven for too long , or was day olds , but it wasn’t good at all. It’s surprising they would serve that to somebody . Also the tip option shows up at the takeout window , ridiculous!

If I can give 0 stars I would just bunch teens who don't care about the business at all recommended turn away go to a diffrent business eat somewhere else multiple times I like in the area and been told they cannot deliver because there service is backed up ? Hire more drivers or don't turn away service multiple times obviously chicken chef doesn't care about there customers! Use you $ somewhere else!!!!

I had livering onions and mashed potatoes and there was a black thing in my potatoes and it was disgusting and they had enough nerve to ask me if I wouldn't want more potatoes, I said no3770 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K 1A1
I order a bucket of 12 pieces of chicken and lg fries. Also 2 pieces fish and chips. It wasn't good. (Fish) In thr bucket I received 6 half chicken wing. ? The chicken was old and cold. The fries were also old. Very disappointed. I call to complain. I was given a call back from the manger. I explained what happened, he really didn't seem to care about the quality of the order I received. He asked if he could send me 6 pieces now. I told him I had company and we had already eaten. I asked if I would get a credit for thus order. And receive another or for a later date. Manger said all he can do is give me a credit for 6 pieces of chicken. This is ridiculous ?. I have been a customer for many yrs. I will never eat at this restaurant again.

I asked for 2 pc fish she brought 2 pc chicken fine it happens so took my plate to go get new but then brings back the potatoes by themself no gravy which i had ordered. if you order gravy with fish order its prob for the fries and or potatoes and why would i want the plate back without the protien. I would rather it all come out at the same time. For a 30 meal it was a disappointment.
