Cilantro's Modern Indian Cuisine - Portage

Came in with a friend of mine who is gluten free, and her 3-year-old son. The printed menu did not have kids options’ printed, which was on the online menu, so were still able to order him a kids meal. The server was not sure which items were gluten free, but was happy to ask the kitchen which was much appreciated, and my friend was able to order a few dishes. All of the food was tasty as usual, and the server was very nice and attentive. She recommended a dessert for me to try and I enjoyed it. It would be helpful to have the vegan and gluten free items labeled on the printed menus, for those with allergies. Overall was a good experience and will be back!! Favourite place for butter chicken and the samosas are great too :)

I was a bit disappointed this time as the vadapav wasn’t as good as I remembered from my last visit. However, the experience was still lovely thanks to the wonderful service from Hetvi. She’s warm, kind, and truly a ray of sunshine—her cheerful presence made all the difference and really brightened up the visit!

The worst service i had received. They don’t even know that it’s just a common sense to send cutlery with the food they are delivering. When I called them about this the girl who picked up the phone said you have to mention cutlery otherwise we don't send these things. What’s this? The girl don’t even had sense to talk. They should improve their customer service.

The shahi paneer is sooo good. But the lamb is SO tough you can barely chew it, and then when you do it's half cartilage and fat. The lamb is so so bad. Definitely so not recommend. 2 stars only because the paneer is so good.

Their food quality and service has drastically decreased over time . They don’t care about customer service. Rather than listening to their customer and providing a resolution to a wrong order, they focus on proving themselves right that it was not their mistake.

We love Cilantro's and will order meals to celebrate special occasions for our family. Value meals are more than enough food, which is always delicious. My only feedback for them is to please stop using scented plastic bags for packing take out orders. The perfume-scent is really at odds with the food, and the chemicals used for fragrance are toxic.

I had the chicken tikka masala combo, and everything was hot and delicious! Friendly and gracious staff! I really enjoyed the rose London fog tea. Recommend! Ends is a wonderful cook and hitanshi was a wonderful server!

Yesterday i bought vadapav which is their new addition in the menu. I bought the spicy one and was on point and would definitely recommend to tryout the new item. Price is also reasonable.
