“We visited Earls 300 Main for the first time yesterday, as I had made a reservation to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived, our reserved table had been given to someone else, so we had to wait until another group changed their plans and we were ultimately seated in the lounge (instead of the dining area I originally booked).

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, modern, and in a great central location. The service was good and the food was excellent, so flavourful and well prepared. They offer a wide variety of dishes; my fettuccine Alfredo had perfectly grilled chicken, and both the pizza and dessert were delicious. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality matched the cost.

Despite the initial reservation error, we had a nice evening. However, I was surprised that even though I specified it was for my birthday, there was no special acknowledgment (no dessert, drink, discount, or even a greeting). So while I do recommend Earls for a casual dinner and drinks, if you’re planning a celebration, just keep in mind that they don’t offer anything beyond the regular service.“

“Really good food & drinks. The drinks are so creative and go with the theme of the exhibits and that is so fun. Even the small dishes are quite filling, presented well & super delicious! We got the beef bourguignon (which was a special for the day), the pork belly, the salmon & the carrots. All of the dishes were flavorful & packed a punch. We got the Rose, hibiscus drinks..One of them was called the Orchard & the other one was the one with peach called the Marigold. The Marigold was definitely my favorite. Also loved that the ice in the drink had a leaf emboss. The attention to detail was very thoughtful.The desserts were really good too! My favorite was the melon sorbet with the meringue disk on top. It was so pretty and the taste was really refreshing too. The apple crumble with the cardamom ice cream was my next favorite. I just LOVED spending the day at the botanical garden and then getting lunch with my friends.This is such a perfect spot for a date too. The food is really that good for a super cute first date 🌹
