During my three days trip to Winnipeg, I found this great buffet restaurant near my hotel. Everything is great including the variety of Indian food. ? don’t miss the nan which is baked here!
I’ve been to EIC about 5-6 times per year for the last 10 years. It’s been for various occasions: celebration, business meeting, date nights with my partner, and a casual bite with friends and family. The food quality, selection, and service is consistently 5/5. You can tell that the owner is well in-tune with the operations and he’s usually there. All in all, great place.
The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious Indian dishes, providing a great taste of India. However, the ambiance is a bit overwhelming due to the heavy decoration, which includes a lot of Indian elements. The excessive use of heavy pillars also limits the seating area and makes the restaurant feel crowded. Overall, while the food is amazing, the restaurant could benefit from some renovation to improve the overall dining experience.
