Ordered two different espresso beverages unfortunately did not try before driving away. Very bad pulls of espresso have to pitch them both. Not sure of the problem, if is pressure or temp or both but not drinkable.

Used to go here a lot for the matcha drinks, I stopped going when I noticed all I could taste was the sweetener and the milk. I noticed they premixed the matcha, kinda gross and lazy tbh. Certain staff here are nice and some come off as rude.
I go to the Sage Creek location now, they even allow you to add extra matcha but it isn’t necessary because they actually add enough for you to taste to begin with. But sometimes certain staff seem a bit snobby and rude…

It was steady but not overly busy, not sure when they started but both staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. A couple of customers commented on the attitude they received. Left the store very underwhelmed by the way I was treated, won't be back to the Academy store

I used to love going here for matcha but now some of the baristas have not been using enough matcha. My drinks taste literally like milk and are barely green in colour. Might as well change the menu to milk with a hint of matcha. I’d definitely suggest the Panet location instead, they always make my drinks perfectly and are not skimpy with the amount of matcha they use!

My sandwich was hotter than megan fox in the first transformers movie abd was hella greasy, but i dabbed her up a little with a napkin and everything was good after that. Good coffee

Empty Cup Cafe is a true gem! The coffee is always on point, fresh and tasty, and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome. Whether you’re there to work or unwind, the ambiance is just perfect. Yesterday we went there just 5 minutes before closing, instead of saying that they were closed for the day, the staff welcomed us with smile and served us. I’ll definitely be back – again and again!

There are always new cafes and pop-ups around the city, but honestly don’t let the hype fool you. Nothing like an Empty cup coffee or matcha. You can taste the quality in every cup, and they’ve kept it consistent over the years. It’s the kind of place that quietly does everything right. Still my go-to, every time.
