“Jane, the owner manager did unintentionally punched in a wrong order as we came almost closing time. But she immediately noticed it and offered the refund then corrected the order. Along the way, both of us doesnt know if the charge pushed thru as something like $3.24 is floating as we used a prepaid gift card.
Though both of us not sure if we were debited, she still offered items worth more than the supposed amount.
In the end she did not let us walk away without giving us something. We decline but she insisted.

“I get really bad anxiety just leaving my house. Like, I rehearse my drive-thru order in the car, out loud, alone. So when I tell you this DQ is my safe place, I mean it.

Yes, sometimes the wait is a little long, but honestly? That’s fine. I panic when people rush, so I actually like the extra time to practice my “Hi, how are you?” so it sounds normal. And so far they’ve always gotten my order right (I’m looking at you Tim Horton’s).

The staff is ridiculously friendly. Like, the kind of friendly where I immediately wondered if they were talking to me by mistake. One time an employee smiled at me so sincerely that I almost cried into my Blizzard. It made me so happy to have such friendly service at the drive-thru (again, I’m looking at you Tim Horton’s).

And THE CAKES. OH. MY. GOSH. Their cake decorator is basically Michelangelo but with frosting. I’ve ordered custom cakes from them multiple times and every single one made me gasp like I had just discovered fire (picture Tom Hank’s character in Cast Away…that’s me with their cakes). They’re my go-to now. I don’t trust anyone else with an icing bag.

Also, they have this little patio outside that feels like a tiny vacation. On hot summer days, it’s basically the Maldives but with fries. Okay, maybe not the Maldives. More like Birds Hill park. But it’s still a nice little spot. I bring my treat out there, sit in the sun, and pretend I’m a relaxed, carefree person instead of someone who stress-sweats in the parking lot.

Anyway, please go support them. They’re a hidden gem!

“We recently went to Edo Japan at Polo Park in Winnipeg and had a wonderful experience. We ordered a veg noodle bowl and a veg rice bowl, and the staff customized everything just the way we liked.

Big thanks to Manager Ekta, along with Sukhman, Harjeet, and Arvin, for being so friendly and helpful, and to Ali and John for cooking our meals perfectly. The service was quick and professional, and the food was fresh and delicious.

“Went to Freddy's for the first time for lunch today. I was greeted by a young lady with a smile. I noticedrighr away that each employee was working with a smile. Very friendly as well. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger meal, a side of chicken strips and a pumpkin pie concrete mixer. My pumpkin pie concrete mixer was made quickly. While I waited for my food, I took a few bites from my pumpkin pie mixer and was immediately in heaven. It was so good! This is a mixer that definitely needs to be available year round lol. I was then greeted by the owner and had a nice little chat with him. I told him that Freddy's reminds me of my favorite burger and frozen custard restaurant in Grand Forks, North Dakota, called Culver's. I always went to culver's every time I was in Grand Forks. I loved it. I got my food, got in the car and began to try my lunch. When I took that first bite of my burger, the patties are nice and juicy, the bacon was crispy, perfect amount of pickles and cheese. It was so good! I honestly can say, this is now my new favorite burger place. I am beyond satisfied with my lunch! I'm so glad that I stopped in for lunch today! Thank you for the amazing service and amazing food!“

Parking: The drive in was confusing since I went left (because of an exiting car no room anyways to the right) off of regent and not right. Went around and ended up close to where I came in.

“I have been a loyal customer of Edo Japan in Fort Richmond for 5 years. Last Saturday, my family and I visited Edo Japan Fort Richmond during dinner time. The store was packed, and it was clear that it was busier than usual with people eating in, taking away, and ordering delivery. The two staff at the front were very welcoming, polite, and efficient. They let us know that our order would take a while, and we were fine with that. We ordered Family Deals and 5 Sushi Platters because we love their food, and it did not disappoint. The staff delivered our order in less than 15 minutes, which was impressive given the crowd. We were pleasantly surprised by the fast service despite the long line and many waiting customers. The staff are definitely hardworking. Although the store didn't have a tipping option, my family chose to tip the staff who worked diligently during the busy period. These staff members are a credit to the company. I hope Edo Japan considers implementing a tipping option so that their hardworking staff can be rewarded for their excellent service.“

Thankfully the staff there were quick to address my mistake and made a call to the other restaurant and sorted it out without me needing to purchase another order.
