I love Fergies Fish and Chops but the last 4 times at the St. VIital mall location the fries are not cooked properly. Nothing is worse than raw fries. Im not sure if the fellow is in too much of a hurry and doesn't wait until the fries are thoroughly cooked or what the problem is. I told the server today after at least 4 times of raw fries. Hopefully he takes the time to ensure they are done to perfection as th other locations do.
I been going to both locations for years. They are equally great. One located at St Vital mall the other at the Forks food court.
Fish and chips are consistently delicious, I have had both the cod and halibut at different times(pickerel available as well), always good. Not too much batter, served with a lemon slice and tarter sauce. Fries and fish are made fresh for you and everything is piping hot when you get it. For what I could eat, it was tasty so I won't knock them for the taste, but hygiene is another thing.
