Had a bento box very good came with me so soup excellent the sashimi was nice and fresh
Had sushi and tempura. Not the best sushi I’ve had. It lacked flavour. The veggie tempura was good. The service was good.
Counter attendant was a grouch, toppings were cold — actually cold, ramen was like warm and heavily salted. Crazy deal for $20.
They wear the same gloves to use the till and make your food. The guy was rude to me when I pointed it out and then the lady did the same thing.
Portions are incredibly small, prices are high, and the sushi was the worst I have ever had. Every type of gas station sushi I have tried has been 10x better than this. Would not recommend.
I got the salmon and tuna poke bowl. It is quite expensive for a very small portion of tuna and salmon. The rest of the ingredients are quite basic, overall a subpar poke ball for a premium price. Would not recommend.
The food was good when I came there. I was amazed by the sushi and ramen. It extremely delicious. The customer service also very nice. Especially the staff Kevin so handsome, that why I always come there just to see him 🫶🫶
Food was extremely disappointing, the presentation doesn’t look so appetizing, the taste was okay but wayyyy overpriced for what you are getting
The Chef creates original sushi. I have traveled alot of the world and this is diffently in my top 2 sushi restaurants. The dynamite roll has this dip it is usually spicy , I asked to have it made without the spicy. And oh my god....it was so amazing. Love love it. We tried things I never thought I would. It is a must place to go if you love sushi or trying for the first time! Jan1st 2025, I so miss my favorite sushi chef...Chris.
The male asian stuff was very rude and doesn't speak proper English.

nothing special, wouldn't repeat
The food is palatable but expensive for what you get. We had the vegetable tempura to start - $7 for three slices of vegetables and one button mushroom; extremely overpriced. We followed it with bowls of shoyu ramen. The ramen was decent and it was nice to have vegetarian options, but it was nowhere near being the best ramen I’ve ever had. Basically you are paying for the experience of eating at The Forks.
Amazing food, poor customer service. I had to wait for a long time for someone to take my order even when they were in front of me ignoring me.
Fusian is located in the Forks Market in downtown Winnipeg.
My colleagues and I went to the Forks for lunch a couple of days while in Winnipeg for a conference. It is somewhat of an elevated food court experience, with lots of diverse food options in the building.
Each restaurant has a unique ordering system, where they will call or text you when your meal is ready for pickup. There is also ample seating, both inside and outside the building.
I opted to try Fusian both days, as there were various items I wanted to try on the menu.
The first day, I tried the salmon and tuna poke bowl. While it was fresh, the portion was quite small, with very little salmon or tuna. The other ingredients were more basic than expected - regular salad mix and canned corn, for instance. Definitely not a standout poke bowl. The meal also included miso soup, which was lukewarm and lacked flavour.
I still decided to give them another try the next day, and ordered the chicken tan tan and spicy salmon rolls.
The chicken tan tan was definitely more flavourful than the poke bowl. It had a nice peanut broth, decent toppings and was piping hot. While the portion of chicken was decent, my only wish was that the chicken was not breaded, as it was totally soggy in the bowl of soup - I pulled off the breading before eating it.
The rolls were served as a 6-piece order and included wasabi and (pink) ginger. They had decent flavour but were not anything special - as much as could be expected for a "food court" style meal.
I would likely not return to this particular vendor, but it was a quick and convenient option for an hour-long lunch.
Vegetarian options: Lots of menu choices, including vegetarian sushi.
Dietary restrictions: Menu choices to cater to different dietary needs.
Kid-friendliness: Large open space and lots of seating.

I ordered a Shoyu Ramen as per recommended by the male staff since it was my first time to try their Ramen but the broth was too salty! The price is a little expensive.
