Best fish and chips in canada (so far that I've tried).When eaten fresh, the fish is crispy and well seasoned, the batter does not overwhelm the fish, and the fish is NOT too moist, ruining the crispiness.The sauce accompanied with it is well made and compliments the fish perfectly.Would absolutely recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried fergies.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on first floor
I've gone to Fergie's the last four times I've gone to Winnipeg for a concert. Some of the best fish n chips money can buy. I always get the "regular" (two piece) pickerel, which is Canada's name for walleye, and I'm stuffed by the end.Word of warning: this stuff is always fresh, which means the fish you're getting is going to be fried to blistering temperatures. Cut your fish up into pieces and start on the chips for a few minutes. Your mouth will thank you for not burning it....read full review

Oh my. Food was straight gas. Fish lightly breaded, seasoned well, slightly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The chips were slightly crispy, seasoned well, succulent, and cooked proper. Tartar sauce was very nice and flavorful. Portion is pretry generous. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back.
