“This review is in regards to Alyssa Willson. Alyssa has been a consistent leader for Joey's Polo Park location bar for as long as I can remember. Despite her many tasks in her managerial position, she still takes the time to weave through all the tables and genuinely interact with the familiar faces of return guests to really give the welcoming family feel at this locations. She is always smiling, despite the array of different situations showing from afar to each guest that everything is running smoothly from in front of house to the kitchen staff. She's an asset to the Fuller Family Group the and sky limit for this one.“

“I had the pleasure of running across this quaint little ice cream shop, with a large selection of very tasty ice cream. It was the day we celebrated Pinawa Birthday. I wanted ice cream and later went back for coffee. Our party of three each ordered a different flavour and were delighted in taste testing each others. The ice cream was so good. We had to wait our turn in the line up but it was so worth it. I went by later for coffee and discovered they were supposed to be closed an hour before that but the happy customers kept coming so she made us our lattes. There was a group of Police man after us and Julia happily served them after us. I loved the ice cream, I loved the passionate and friendly service and the lattes were very tasty. It’s nice to see a small town business being run with such care, compassion to stay over time and such a tasty selection. If you haven’t tried it yet… GO. I will be back. 😊😊😊“

From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, you could smell the seasoned promise of greatness. It was like being hugged by a warm Mediterranean breeze… if that breeze also carried sizzling meat and garlic.

My partner and I both ordered the gyros, each with different sides — because variety is the spice of life, and also because we like to share. The plates were massive, the flavours were next-level, and the tzatziki? Put it in an IV.

We barely made a dent before admitting defeat and packing the rest up like survivors of a delicious battle. And just when we thought we were out, they pulled us back in — with baklava. One portion. Enough to feed our whole table, heal generational trauma, and maybe bring about world peace.

“Went on a slow day so food was fast and service was nice, on busier days waits can get up to 10 minutes but staff is still friendly. Still a mall food court restaurant so surrounding area is loud but a great place if you want some fries or hot dogs.“

I first had my rib experience there over 40 years ago and have been back for an always consistent and great meal. Silver Heights is a family Icon restaurant that has thrived for so many years as they do it right for their customers.“

“I usually used to have my pizza from other location but this time I tried henderson location here, my pizza with very less cheese and extra sauce was made with handful of toppings. I loved the pizza so much this time as it had nice amount toppings and the right amount of cheese I wanted. Thank you gurl for the pizza! Also great customer service Roop:)“

“I literally only go here so I can practice my french, and they help me - free of charge! BUT that being said, their laté is AMAZING. The people there are soo friendly and helpful (French and non french speakers). Also, they have started a coffee reward system. Buy 10 coffees and get one free. (As a Winnipegger that makes me happy) I'm not great at reviewing things, so just go there. You will not be disappointed.“

“The old spaghetti factory has always held a special place in my bones. Coming here as a kid was always the best part of visiting the forks. The food is very reasonably priced and you get a delicious full dinner experience with soup, bread and desert. The atmosphere is awesome and definitely super cozy. Coming here with family will definitely stay in my happy memories. My only complaint would have to be parking but it’s the forks after all. Bingus Bingus.“

“Fair gluten friendly options, great service and knowledgeable servers. I like how you can see the chefs preparing the food, very clean inside. overall good experience! My only downside was the cooked shrimp didn't state it had wasabi in the middle, so that was disappointing but no big deal.“

Our server recommended the Naru rolls, which is one of their more popular rolls. It's a must try. The teriyaki chicken roll is flawless, thinly breaded chicken and adds a level of crunch that I've never had in a teriyaki chicken roll before.

“This is the best sushi in Winnipeg. we stumbled upon this gem about a month ago and were amazed by how delicious and reasonably priced it is. Our second visit today was even better! Absolutely everything we've sampled is delicious; from the sushi pizza, the beef tataki, the rolls, the miso.. and the Sapporo frozen beer... 5☆. On top of fabulous food is the service! A+! I can not recommend this restaurant enough. If we lived closer we would probably be in at least twice a week!“

“Nuburger Kenaston: I was greeted by two very warm and friendly gentlemen. One of them gave me a low-down on the menu as I had never been there before. My burger (monster something rather) was huge and soooo delicious! The fries contained the perfect amount of salt and crispness…you know when the ends have just a little extra oil and it adds to the taste😋However, nothing surpassed my expectations more than the service. One of the gentlemen offered to help carry my order to the car and held doors open. 120/10!! 😉“

“I went into Double D's when I needed to find something for dessert for a family dinner. I was met by a wonderfully cheery woman that informed me that she was one of the D's in Double D's. I had never been there before and I let her know that, and she was not only extremely helpful but awesomely charismatic and you could tell she had a passion for what she was doing. She told me to try the Pistachio, Blueberry, and Skor and they were all a hit. I wish I could remember her name, but I do know I will be going back next time I am in Winnipeg! Definitely recommend!“
