Normally I LOVE what I get when I order from Golden elephant, and I order the same thing every time. Tonight, I was clearly given hard, slightly burnt rice scraped from the bottom of the pot, and the soup had almost no broth. I'm very disappointed, this is not the quality I've come to expect from this restaurant and Uber eats doesn't allow for details about the issue. I've posted a photo of the rice clumps I picked out and the very low liquid volume of the soup

This place was very clean, the food was very good. I would definitely recommend. The owner was extremely friendly and always willing to explain or suggest what to try as it had been the first time for us going, we really did not know what to order. Food came out pretty fast. Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This place was also very kid friendly, we have an 8 month old, and they had a nice high chair for her and were very eager to accommodate around her.

The food is always incredible here with large portions, great flavor, and reasonable prices. Most restaurants lately have decreased their portion sizes while increasing their prices, but not Golden Elephant. And when a dish says with vegetables, they actually put in a lot of great vegetables where other restaurants will throw in a few carrots and lots of onions.Vegetarian options: A lot of great vegetarian choices. I'm plant-based and can order many dishes.

Restaurant salad rolls tend to have too much rice noodles, with very little protein and vegetables. To me, that makes them not worth the price, typically $6-8 for one order = 2 rolls. I recently ordered from this restaurant for the first time, salad rolls to go. I thought they were going to be the typical sized salad rolls, so I ordered two packs = 4 rolls. When I was told $22 ($9.95 per pack, plus tax), I initially thought that was steep! But, I didn't know each roll was like two in one lengthwise, they were huge! Plus they put a good amount of tasty meat in each one (grilled pork in one order, grilled beef in the other), less than the typical amount of rice noodles, and a good amount of lettuce and basil. The ratio of the contents made for very tasty rolls, especially with the peanut sauce. So overall, the price was reasonable. What could have made the rolls perfect would be adding crunchy onions/shallots inside, and thinning the peanut sauce a little for easier dipping. The restaurant entrance was inside the hotel. From the entryway, the restaurant looked nice, bit of a dark environment though. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Absolutely horrible service. My chicken wings were undercooked. I have never had an issue with this restaurant before but this time they were bloody I even have a picture to prove it. They told me they do not allow take out on chicken wings any longer because of my “unreasonable” complaint, even though it was completely valid. He hung up on me and was being extremely rude on the phone. Highly do NOT recommend this place. Chicken wing picture posted on photo section. Completely unacceptable.
