It was a wonderful place with a great vibe. The live music was excellent, and I loved how people of all ages were enjoying it together that made the experience even more special. It was also a pleasure meeting Claire and having a great conversation with her.

Eventbrite said Super Troopers ABBA tribute July 19 @ Blue Note gates at 7:30, show at 8:30pm, but was 10:10 pm before they started, meanwhile the DJ played filler music totally out of step with the older-crowd waiting patiently. When they did start to sing, harmony was optional - we we left disappointed after a few songs. At least we met some nice people at our table that we shared for 2 1/2 hours waiting for the show to start!

Great vibe and sense of community. Fantastic music! (If you like Blues). The dance floor was always full. The bar has a good selection of local beers on tap and are reasonably priced. The decor and furniture are not a draw, but functional with a community centre vibe. I'll definitely be back!

Very nice establishment. Great environment and amazing music. Things are a little cramped stage side, but it only adds to the intimacy of the venue. Great staff, great amenities, good drink prices, excellent atmosphere. Its a very unique place that pulls amazing talent and cultivates a fun and welcoming environment. Truly an essential Winnipeg venue that everyone shoud experience.
