My granddaughter is Dairy egg and gluten resistant ordered her own personal birthday cake, chocolate almond caramel with a picture on it of her puppy . Absolutely delicious! The picture was perfect. She was thrilled to have her own cake worth every penny all the guests got regular cupcakes. I will be ordering one for Father’s Day for sure. The staff is wonderful. I love the little store. Honey Bunny Pastry Shop is hands down the best place for pastries I’ve found in Winnipeg! The cakes and treats here are incredibly delicious—perfectly sweet and full of nostalgic flavors that remind me of my childhood. You can tell that each pastry is made with carefully selected, natural ingredients, which really sets them apart. The selection is so wide that I think it’ll take us a few months just to try everything! We’ve already discovered some favorites, like the delicate honey cake with prunes and my personal go-to, the Red Velvet.
For the Ukrainian community here, this is absolutely the number one place I’d recommend. It feels like a taste of home, and I’m sure everyone will find something familiar and comforting from their childhood. The shop's interior is beautifully decorated, and there’s a charming display cabinet and table with collectible figurines that both kids and adults can admire while waiting in line—it’s a nice touch, especially on busy days.
