Beautiful restaurant, the food was very good and a nice touch on the dessert plate acknowledging our anniversary. Our server was excellent. We will be back before our next anniversary.

One of the best steaks I have ever had. The experience was top notch. The restaurant was elegant, my steak was made to perfection and the server, Danny topped it all of. With over 30 years of being a waiter at Hy's, not only does he excel at his career, but he was truly personable. A job well done and I will certainly stop by next time I am in Winnipeg.

We tried using our opentable coupon. It was only $26 but the manager came and told us it was stale dated. Instead of making a huge fuss not sure why they didn't just accept it. Our meal was $436? Fairly embarrasing the incident he created.

I've been here only a few times over the years. My most recent visit seemed that the prices went up and service had not. Asking over $200 for a stake is just too much to not have good service. Great location. Good experiences in the past.

Hy’s Vancouver is always dependable. Our waiter was a very pleasant, well-spoken, and well-trained fellow named Christophe. He prepared us a round of Caesar salads table side and his wine service was impeccable. My NY strip was perfect and my son enjoyed his dry-aged steak very much (gotta try it at least once). This type of experience is the norm at Hy’s Vancouver, not the exception.

We've been to this restaurant many times. It's one of our favourites and this last visit was perfect. The menu has changed a little. Vegetables are a separate menu item. We ordered the broccoli and the carrots. Both of them were so delicious and complimented our steaks very well. The New York strips were tender and seasoned perfectly. Bananas foster and New York style cheesecake-so delicious! Staff are friendly and personable and thank you Andrew so much for making it a great experience.

Overall great experience other than parking and dessert. As we were about to eat our dessert a waiter brought out the SMELLIEST fish (strong odour like it was microwaved), and did turn us off. Please be mindful with this.... not a great end to our overall positive experience.
We took some special business acquaintances to Hy's as a thank you. I had asked for a really nice table and we got that! The food was reasonably good....I was not impressed with the beef medallions. Our server was slightly arrogant. Furnishings are bordering on shabby. The restrooms are down 2 very long flights of stairs. All in all, the experience was reasonable, but I don't think it was worth the $600 that we paid.

Outstanding visit from start to finish. Wonderful atmosphere, fabulous cocktails, one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had (prepared table-side) and my New York steak with the peppercorn sauce was cooked to perfection. Kelly provided top notch service. Definitely a 5 star experience!

Went to Hy's for a surprise 60th birthday. Had a private room, servers were fantastic, food was amazing (pork chop and Diana steak). Espresso martini was delicious. We had the Caesar salad, as this wasn't prepared in front of us (they advised us prior) however, it felt like the lettuce was a bit wilted (maybe from sitting around too long before serving). This is why I have 4 stars, everything else was a perfect 5. Great time and thank you.

The we chose the lounge to watch the Jets game. The live music was a welcome surprise! The decor, ambiance, and service were exceptional. It's really an outstanding place. My husband loved his prime rib burger. I ordered the tuna and was disappointed with the amount of salt on it. I didn't expect to be crunching grains of salt while eating it. In hindsight I should have requested less seasoning.
