I regularly visit Marcello’s for lunch during my work hours, and it’s become a dependable spot when I want something quick yet satisfying. The place offers a wide variety of options—freshly made sandwiches, build-your-own salads, daily hot meals, and a decent selection of healthy snacks and drinks. There’s definitely something for every type of craving, whether you’re in the mood for something hearty or something light.

While the prices are a bit on the higher side, I find the quality of food and the convenience worth it. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the service is generally fast and efficient, which is ideal during a busy workday. The layout is clean and organized, making it easy to browse and grab what you need, especially when you’re on a time crunch.

If you’re looking for a lunch spot with variety food, Marcello’s is a great option—just be prepared to spend a little more than your average lunch.

Great selection of goods!

There was so many options and the staff were very friendly as well as helpful. Very quick if you want your food to go and want a lot of choices, loved the salt and pepper chicken.

This place does not honor the GST vacation. This is not an option.

I found this disgusting insect in my plate and I would no longer eat there.

Good place to grab some food to-go as well as to eat inside. Different dishes and pretty wide choice. But for last 2 years they haven’t changed any dish at all. The same dishes are served for the whole 2 years. That would be great if they could add some new dishes feom time to time. Also, prices are really high.

Hands down my favourite lunch place in Winnipeg. So disappointed the portage avenue location closed. Takes a whole 45 minute lunch break now to get to the Richardson building and back…

WAY too expensive. I got 3 meatballs and 2 scoops of rice. It was over $8. I should've went to McDonald's.

I've ordered sandwiches there twice. Both times the ingredients had gone bad. One time it was the ham, which was sour and slimy, and another it was the bacon.

Far too expensive

A first visit to this second location of Marcello’s Market and Deli. Just enjoyed a cappuccino but did not disappoint. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Everything looked neat, tidy and clean! Lunch here will be in my future.
