Amazingly delicious and authentic. Great food and atmosphere! We had chips and guacamole, ceviche, pupusas, and yucca fries and they were all amazing! Highly recommend

The food is excellent, we shared a tamal de pollo as an appetizer, I had the beef quesadilla and my wife had the chicken burrito and the meat was super tender and flavourful, veggies cooked perfectly and delicious melty cheese. Absolutely worth the trip and repeat visits.

This is a family owned El Salvadorean spot unequalled in Winnipeg. Flawless takeout if that's your thing. Neat little market of stuff you won't find on the average grocery store shelf.Good food takes time to prepare, if you are dining in prepare for a wait, it's worth it.

This is a great little spot. I love papusas and was not disappointed. Service was not quick, but does it really always have to be? Two of us had papusas and one had tortilla soup, and we all left very happy.If you haven't had papusas, they are these great grilled, stuffed tortillas. You can have choice of meat, beans and/or cheese inside. Served with curtido (like coleslaw) and salsa. So yummy.

Delicious! This quaint little mom and pop shop should be busier than it is. We have frequented Mercadito Latino a number of times and have never been disappointed. The stars of the show are the Sopa de Tortilla, Tamal de Elote, and the Yuca Frita. You also cannot go wrong with any of their Pupusas, little pockets of cheesy yumyums.Highly recommend!
