This is a great little spot. I love papusas and was not disappointed. Service was not quick, but does it really always have to be? Two of us had papusas and one had tortilla soup, and we all left very happy.If you haven't had papusas, they are these great grilled, stuffed tortillas. You can have choice of meat, beans and/or cheese inside. Served with curtido (like coleslaw) and salsa. So yummy.

Delicious! This quaint little mom and pop shop should be busier than it is. We have frequented Mercadito Latino a number of times and have never been disappointed. The stars of the show are the Sopa de Tortilla, Tamal de Elote, and the Yuca Frita. You also cannot go wrong with any of their Pupusas, little pockets of cheesy yumyums.Highly recommend!

Authentic and delicious. A safe place for people with Celiac disease to eat. They have many gluten-free items.Family owned and operated.. I’ll definitely be going back!! The pupusa’s are excellent and also the tortilla soup.Dietary restrictions: A safe place for people with Celiac Disease to eat. There are several gluten-free items. Their kitchen is mostly gluten-free regardless as many items are made from corn, not wheat.

I don't know if it is the owner who ran this place, but it is the worst service I have received in all of Canada. The atmosphere of the place does not seem interesting at all for a restaurant, it is too abandoned... and the food I ordered was all heated in a microwave, from the table where I sat I could hear this device heating my chicken tamale and a disco soup. tortillas..... the area where it is located is a little complicated apart from everything... the truth is I don't recommend this place at all, it's a shame because I was looking for a Latin restaurant and this thing has nothing Latin, it looks like a store from one of the poorest neighborhoods in any of our countries, but with the worst service in the world. Between the soup and the tamale I paid almost 17 dollars. EXPENSIVE FOR QUALITY

I almost didn't post this.. I wanted to keep it a secret.. I loved the place. At first I wasn't impressed. But the food was amazing. It's quiet and comfortable. The server was very polite. I'm definitely going back. PS. If you like/colect spice sauce, you will find some good options to buy.Parking: The parking fits 4 or 5 cars by the side of the building.
