Worst food ever i tried so far since i live in Winnipeg downtown in my life. The whole restaurant having dumped bad smell. Food quality is 1 out of 10. Cashier is okay. Overpriced than food quality. Not sure about the kitchen area environment & this restaurant must be raid by city authorities. Health & safety score is zero. Beware of this restaurant because you might fall in sick after taking food from this restaurant.

We arrived about 10:15 pm on a Sunday night. The sign said “open”, but when we walked in, all the lights were off. Everyone was quick to spring into action, get the kitchen fired up and provided us an amazing meal with fantastic service. We had fried rice, sweet and sour pork, General Tso chicken, chicken chow mein and almond chicken. Each dish was better than the last. So fresh and flavourful. It was quite a memorable experience. The place is old and run down and looks like you would expect it to look from the 1930s but that is all part of the experience.

I don't review restaurants, but make an exception today. When three guys are really hungry late at night, you tend to be very forgiving. So I will just give the facts after ordering noodles, ginger beef and dumplings.
1) My friend has never left a dumpling un-eaten. We left pretty much all of them.
2) We never got the ginger beef we ordered after 40 min.
3) A couple of guys walked in and asked how the food was. We said try for yourself and gave them a dumpling. They left.
4) We ate some of the noodles, but left about half.
5) The Heineken was good.
6) We left still hungry when the ginger beef didn't come. I hope it's good.

Went in for late supper with a group of 5. Everything was priced fairly and portions were great. Spring rolls, egg rolls, and rice dishes were amazing! The beef dishes were cooked very well, but our ginger beef has little sauce. The small wonton soup was great! Cooked evenly and the broth was strong but good.

ordered sesame chicken and lo mein from this place. Unfortunately, the sesame chicken was very disappointing. It was overcooked deepfried chunks of chicken breast that were extremely tough and rubbery barely edible. The lo mein was okayish. I’ve ordered from them before and had a much better experience, so this was a real letdown. Based on this recent order I wouldn’t recommend it.

Worst pretend pretend Ginger Beef ever and the BBQ pork with veg was just pan fried pork.
Totally disappointed.

I walk by this place all the time on my way to work and always thought the outside looked like a dump, turns out it is.
Ordered the deluxe wanton soup and spring rolls. The spring rolls were literally those little ones you buy from the freezer section at the store. They charge almost $7 for 6 (you can just buy an entire box at Safeway for the same price) and the wonton soup was basically just meatballs in an overly sweet broth which was missing a lot of the “deluxe” components it was supposed to come with. Super gross I wouldn’t try again or recommend.

I always order from UberEats, food is really good. I get combo E, and I get everything I want for a good price!

I’m reading the reviews and they seem kind of weird. This place is one of the only late night downtown restaurants open.

The food tastes like kinda trashy Chinese food.

It’s yummy. I feel like all the negative reviews don’t understand the allure of this place.

It’s open late in an area that no restaurants are open late. It’s very hard to stay open this late while making a profit.

The food is EXCEPTIONAL if you factor in these predicaments.

Delicious. Lots of value to your dollar.

The place looks like a dilapidated strip club from the outside wouldn't dare step in. Ordered from Skip numerous occasions and each time the food was trash. Steer clear.
