Wow I’ve been missing out not trying this place sooner! I don’t know much about the background but the dishes remind me of themes and flavours found while dining in Mexico and Latin America, among others, with some unique modern adjustments and inspirations. We enjoyed the food (sumac chicken fatteh and the Cochinita Hash) and even the coffee was really good - trying the Thai tea lattes, a first for me.

We got lucky and just walked right in and were seated during busy Sunday rush. Tables for 2 probably have it easier than larger groups, who might have to go on waits.

Very good menu and space. Worth checking out. I plan to return someday

I'm probably not target demographic but really enjoyed my time. I'm my much into coffee but my friend who recommended it was. They had a pretty extensive coffee menu. Great breakfast (I had the hash, maybe a bit less flavorful than expected), but was busy and served breakfast all day. I like it!

A very relaxed environment, very tasty food. However, I would love to see bigger portions on the potatoes. However, definitely visit this place, it is a gem

The place was very busy and a little noisy, but it had a nice atmosphere overall. The host was extremely friendly, which made the wait more pleasant. We were initially told it would be about a 30-minute wait, but we were seated in just 15 minutes. The food was beautifully presented. What I ordered was good, though not something I’d choose again on a future visit. The Americano was excellent!

The service was amazing eventho they were super busy. We ordered food and they came quickly. However, my friend ordered something with avocado but there was no avocado 🤣 I was glad she is a chef so she knows her dishes. The server was really fast bringing the missing item so not a big deal at all lol. I didnt like the bacon so my friend finished and said it was delicious
Overall, food was amazing and I will definitely come back next time when I am in town

I found this as a great spot for vegan brunch in Winnipeg and will definitely be going back to try more of their vegan options.

Atmosphere is really nice, very aesthetically pleasing. The wait staff were nice. My only issue was that the food lacks balance. Looking at the ingredients, the dishes and the menu I would expect the food to be really good, but when it comes down to the actual taste there always seems to be something out of balance. Something is too salty or too dry, or there is too much or too little of a certain ingredient that makes me not enjoy my food. Generally, the best dishes are ones without too many moving parts like the classic breakfast.

Such a nice little place to have breakfast! I had the vegan hash and it was amazing. Awesome that they have a menu for plant based options! My London fog was great as well. Highly recommend coming here!

The service and friendliness of the staff is fantastic. I love the coffee mugs! The hot sauce is nice, but it has a particular taste that I wouldn't like for every single dish. I wasn't impressed by the food, which was also overpriced. Acoustics are bad when the restaurant is full. The bread was burnt on the crust and didn't taste that good. I saw a quick cleanup of tables to keep everything running nicely. There was enough staff and I appreciate that. No one looks like they're too stressed out.

This place is a gem! You can find it in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. Quaint front of the store, but the ambience was cool, vibe was easy, their service was quick and friendly, and of course, the food was phenomenal . The selections are plentiful. Their traditional delectable egg Benny, or the classic protein loaded breakfast sandwich, to their mouth watering avocado toasts, which is my personal favorite, are always the go-to choices for my family and each never fail to ensure gustatory satisfaction. Baby potatoes was a yummy side to our brunch. Pancakes are a sweet treat to cap any meal. Coffee variations are available like espresso, lattes, or teas, though my husband and I would stick to their house brew most times.
Come early as sometimes the place fills up so quickly, even on weekdays, as it's a favorite lunch place of people working around the area.
Nonetheless, we will keep coming back to this place.
