Always love coming here with my man! Best sushi in the city, and the staff are always so nice! Great atmosphere, and love stopping in whenever we're in the area <33

Had a wonderful meal at Naru Sushi tonight. Everything was so fresh and the presentation was absolutely beautiful.
We were really impressed by the large sushi boat they brought to the table. It was a great way to share and try a little bit of everything. We will definitely be back soon.
I sat there for about 30 minutes, and not only did no one come to take my order, but no one even offered me a glass of water. The level of service and attention to customers was extremely disappointing. Overall, it was a very poor experience

Food was amazing, the nigiri was so good, seated right away and food came out quick. Tasted all fresh and the atmosphere inside was good, smaller setting but didn’t feel cramped. Made sure we had fresh water and cleared plates

Ordered the large sushi boat with my family for a variety of rolls. We had reservations and was seated but took a while to order and get drinks. Food was good.

Naru Sushi 🍣 has such a nice aesthetic Japanese vibe in Winnipeg: cozy, calm, and perfect for a sushi craving or date spot. We ordered their large sushi boat 🛶 and it was the highlight: fresh, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best tasting sushi I’ve had. It also felt pretty reasonably priced for the quality and experience. If you’re looking for the best sushi in Winnipeg or a cute sushi boat experience, this place is definitely worth it!

The sushi is very large which is good and filling! Fast pace environment, with great service. It is a fairly small place however with close sitting. I recommend here if you want to try new sushi in the city! Parking is not the best however, you have to find street parking that may be a 7 minute walk.

Had a little sushi date night with my bestie. This place was perfect, so cozy and intimate <3 The food was so delicious and I was so amazed with their sizzling sushi, that fire was the highlight of our night lol. Kudos also to all the staff, everyone is so nice and accommodating :)

Went during a quiet hour. Top notch and thoughtful service. The food came out super quick.
The baked roll was our favourite. The garlicky tasted made it a stand out. Solid presentation and roll wrapping. They have lots of fun and interesting speciality rolls. There is really something for everyone. The only thing we didn't enjoy as much were the yakitori. We weren't expecting the yam and the chicken was very dry. The sauce was really good though.
We've been a couple of times and each time is great. One of our favourite sushi spots in the city!

The first thing we were greeted with was “give me a sec.” Not exactly the warmest welcome for paying customers.
From the moment we sat down until we left, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable due to the owner’s consistently rude behavior toward her staff.
Our server was interacting with the staff appropriately, yet the owner kept openly criticizing and correcting his tone right behind me as a customer, which made the experience quite awkward.
The owner came across as very commanding and arrogant, while the server was genuinely calm, polite, and friendly throughout.
The nigiri also wasn’t great—the fish had a noticeable lack of freshness.
It’s a sushi spot right across from my place, so I really wanted it to be a regular go-to, but unfortunately it missed the mark.
