We recently ordered a birthday cake from this business(chocolate with white buttercream frosting). The cake was very dense and the bottom layer was brownie consistency. The frosting was cracking and tasted like sweetened shortening. No one could eat it. We had ordered a birthday cake 6 months ago and it was very very dry. We did not complain about the 1st cake as we thought it was a one of. We emailed Oma’s the day after picking up the most recent cake and they told us to order a third cake and we would get 50% off. They did not say we could bring the cake back. We are regular customers at this bakery and usually enjoy in store treats. We try to shop at local but 2 birthday desserts were ruined. We are very disappointed that Oma’s did not do the right thing!

Oma’s bake shop is located at 1795 Henderson Highway in Mcivor mall. It is located right at the entrance of the mall and is a wonderful place overall. They bake fresh baked goods, such as cakes, fresh bread, cookies, and many other sweet delicacies. They have a wide selection of cookies ranging from white chocolate, macadamia nut, chocolate chunk, oatmeal raisin, and many other varieties. Very friendly service and overall great place. There is free parking in the mall parking lot. I highly recommend.

Not only did they look amazing, they tasted amazing and are fairly big. we ordered a week ahead and they were ready on time as promised. I ordered a custom cake for my toddlers birthday and they definitely exceed my expectations! I have them a photo of the cake and the flavor ideas and they delivered on every aspect!! My cake was EXACTLY like the photo and my flavors were amazing!! I will recommend this bakery to anyone who wants a beautiful cake and I'm definitely gonna order more cakes in the future. The cake decorator was amazing at helping me determine the best options for the cake and she responded to my emails quickly.
