This went in for a bit of ice cream to have some dessert and a couple scoops of vanilla for less than $5. Fantastic! The rest of the menu looks incredible obviously and the atmosphere is fantastic. Clean. Good service. Good people. Good food.

Just another NorthEnd Winnipeg Icon Restaurant with Sals. They haven’t changed in over sixty years and their Cheese Nip and fries with Cole slaw is my go to platter here. Also their wafer custard pie is a dessert classic. Sals is simply one of the best resto restaurants in Winnipeg.

We had an incredible server. Food was what I expected it to be. We did not wait a long time for drinks or food. It was a warm, homey feeling inside with a lot of nostalgic decorations. We had chicken fingers, poutine, grill cheese with fries and gravy, perogy dish with hollandaise sauce, vanilla ice cream with strawberry drizzle. We also had coffee.

Parking: Lots of parking in the plaza shopping area. Always good to have decent amount of parking spots.
