Silver Heights Restaurant in sunny St. James in Winnipeg has been thriving for decades. It was always the place for the best, tasty baby back ribs in the good ole days when the big chains weren’t around. I first had my rib experience there over 40 years ago and have been back for an always consistent and great meal. Silver Heights is a family Icon restaurant that has thrived for so many years as they do it right for their customers.
We are St James people and have gone to Silver Heights Restaurant a lot over the years. Have not been for quite some time though and was pleasantly surprised. Clean, comfortable dining room with privacy. Quiet. Service was fantastic. Best I have received in any restaurant for years! There were 4 of us. Food was delicious. Moderately priced. Would go back any time. Very nice evening!
Service was excellent and we were very well attended to. It was a quiet night in the restaurant so not a good measure for the busier timeframes. One of the guests had Steak and one had Prime Rib and both said the meat was done to perfection. One had Caesar Salad with a Grilled Chicken Breast and was pleased with the amount of chicken although felt a bit underdressed.
