Charlie is a very attentive server. We always appreciate what she brings to our breakfast meeting and we look forward to seeing her when we arrive.

Charlie is an awesome waitress. Very friendly & professional. A group of us meet once or twice a week in the private room for breakfast. Charlie is our preferred server.

Eden, our server, was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make our visit really great. She was so attentive, checked on us multiple times, and was overall just the best. She deserves to be recognized for her outstanding service!!!!!

Seated quickly. Got drinks quickly. Was quite a while before the waitress came back to check on us. Once we had our food was also a while before she checked again if everything was okay. Crepes were not good, tough, used too sweet fake strawberry syrup instead of real strawberry juice and missed the powdered sugar and whipped cream. This was pointed out but was already done eating by the time the waitress checked back with us. Nothing done about it. Donuts were also too oily. Not horrible food. Not good food. Staff friendly but not attentive, even with only a handful of tables late at night.

Good place to stay for a drink or a dinner!

Absolutely love Eden!! Such an amazing and kind woman. She was there anything we needed and beyond. Will definitely be coming back to see her!!!

I have visited this Smitty's twice and was disappointed both times. I really enjoy Smitty's for their all day breakfast and I have been to every one in Winnipeg. This is the only one that I will no longer be returning to. Both times I have felt like the staff were just doing the bare minimum. I don't know if it's because they're on Pembina in a plaza with a Tim Hortons and a gas station and other stores so they know they'll get business regardless, but the atmosphere and the workers both times felt cold and uncaring. Almost no smiles, bitter coffee, small portions on my hash browns, butter on my toast when I asked for it dry.....I understand that everyone makes mistakes, that isn't the issue......I can feel that there is a lack of care there. I'd recommend any other Smitty's in the city where I always have a great visit and leave a tip - I felt a little embarrassed but I left 0$ for tip both times at this place. Maybe they need new management.

Edit: I am upgrading my score to a 3* since the manager replied to this promptly and professionally. I was in a fairly bad mood when I left this review, and now a few hours later, having seen the manager 's reply, I am willing to come back in a few weeks and try again. No one is perfect and I feel it would be wrong of me to permanently condemn a business that is making an effort. After my next visit I will revisit this review.

To Mathieu the manager, thank you for the prompt and professional response - now that my head is not so clouded with frustration I should mention that there was a young girl named Ruby working there today who seemed like she was trying her best. I appreciate also the opportunity to reach out to you via email, but I don't think it's necessary at the moment.
