My family and I enjoy coming here. But the fact that they charge $8.99 for kids under 2 is mind blowing. They DO NOT provide proper high chairs and changing tables in the washroom. If you’re a family friendly restaurant these things are a must.
Went for lunch and got the Katsu Don Rice Bowl and Beef Don Rice Bowl. Sooooo delicious! Huge serving too, if you’re not too hungry, you can share and then order appetizers. Would come back again and again :)

The food at Sushi Gen is always fresh and delicious. I especially loved the sashimi and torched salmon — so good! Great variety, fast service, and friendly staff. Totally worth the price. One of the best sushi places in Winnipeg. Highly recommend!
