The Captain's Boil Reviews
This was our first time. Food and service were great! We are definitely going back to try other options.
Terrible experience there, food was late, came missing items. Our kid’s food took almost 45mins to only go to the wrong table and it was brought to our table after the plate was touched and handled by many others.
And just to top it up, the rude manager came to our table pointing to us and the kids “too loud, too loud” we let it slide but after all at the check out they had all the orders mixed out, double charged us on 3 items.

Menu
The Captain's Boil provides solid and fast service, with a delicious crawfish boil for $29.99. The lemon pepper sauce was great, and the corn and potatoes were the best part, though the amount of corn was disappointing. It is the only "boil" place in Winnipeg, but it may not offer the true southern boil experience. The restaurant is wheelchair inaccessible due to stairs. Families enjoy celebrating birthdays here, praising the fresh and tasty food as well as the quick, friendly service. The restaurant specializes in Cajun-style seafood boils, but the high prices and heavy butter use might not suit everyone. The food is gluten-free, but options for vegans are limited. Some customers noted that most dishes come in bags rather than trays, which is different from other seafood boil spots. The atmosphere can be very noisy, making conversation difficult at times, and the prices are considered a bit high by some guests.
