It was a last minute dinner for Valentine’s Day and the folks at Oxbow were able to accommodate us!Food was good! I wasn’t blown away by it but the flavours were still there. The burrata was maybe my favourite along with the patatas bravas. The chicken diavolo was a bit too dry for my liking but hence the sauce there.

The food was subpar. The flavours, the textures, and the aroma all intertwined together to create this delicious meal. The chicken was great. It was flavourful, juicy, soft, light and very flavourful. The cabbage was also flavourful and juicy.As for the customer service, it was also great. The server took the time to explain the food and the wine menu which helped me a lot since they had many wine collections that I was not fully knowledgeable about.

Unfortunately we did not have the greatest experience.. Specifically due to the way our party was treated by our waitress. We were there celebrating a special occassion, and upon our arrival we were scolded by our waitress for greeting each other and said "This is a small restaurant and you all need to take it down a bit" but we were not disruptive at all. Simply excited that we were surprised with boxes seated at our table because we asked to be bridesmaids in that moment. I wish that was the only unfortunate part of our night. Her animosity upon arrival set the tone for the rest of the night. She spoke to us very unprofessionally our whole night. Telling us to "stack our plates" with a tone of a parent scolding their children as we were confused cause as we still had 3 more dishes coming out and told us she would be bringing us new plates. At the end when it came to payment she didn't care to ask how we wanted to split the bill, she just assumed 6 because there was 6 of us, but we actually wanted to split it 5 ways and they way she looked annoyed and frustrated that she had to re-do the bills all over again. When she proceeded to take each of our payment she told the first girl where the tip button was, as if she was dumb and didn't know how to read or work the machine. The waitress didn't even thank us at the end or at the very least say "Have a good night" Despite our experience we all still tipped her in the end It's unfortunate because the food was amazing but not a good experience as we had the absolute worst customer service

Recent visit for dinner left a lasting impression. The service at Oxbow is impeccable. The warm, attentive, & knowledgeable staff made sure our menu & drink choices paired for the perfect evening. The drunken clams, tuna tataki, and patatas bravas were our favourite. Look forward to the next visit.

Service is always wonderful.Food is thoughtfully curated & atmosphere is cozy & intimate.Thursday night is half off oysters & Sundays they have wine specials.Went repeatedly the last few months and it’s been consistently great every time.Must haves: potatas bravas, tuna tataki, carrots, rotolo & burrata - but everything is so delicious.Heads up for their hours- as they do close their kitchen an hour before closing time! (Made that mistake of going for late night snack a couple times)
