I was in during the holidays to visit my forever home. My longtime friends and I had dinner at Bonnie Day. Wow. It was so impressive! The food ( whipped feta appie is seriously a must) Our entree was clearly made with love. Service was great. I love that type of restaurant that you know the staff hang out after work and care for each other. Atmosphere is so inviting. Can’t wait to come visit in the summer and hang on that patio. Don’t usually comment on restrooms but that wall art is so cool. You know that the owners must be proud Manitoba folk. I’ve told all my friends who will listen. Go to Bonnie Day if you want to have a good time.

My partner and I love Bonnie day and visit regularly, usually in the evening. We went for lunch today and the service was unusually poor. Our server visited the table once, for less than a minute, during our entire visit. We had no cutlery, napkins or water refill and was not checked on once. We almost felt as though we did something wrong or were neglected, as we felt ignored by all staff. The food on the other hand is spectacular. We love supporting local restaurants, however we feel as though our experience today was exceptionally poor and should be noted.

It's a cozy place that offers quality menu (limited selection). They have a plenty of vegetarian options as well. Seemed slightly on the pricier side with their portion sizes.

We LOVE Bonnie Day! This is the place we go whenever we want a treat. The food is a billion, trillion on a scale 1 to 10! The service is always great! The folks who work there are SUPER nice! The water is great and filled constantly. Our 8 yr old always orders the Breakfast Bun, (no spicy mayo, no red onion, with melted cheese -substitutions are ok!) They also love the iced hot chocolate but the regular hot chocolate is also fire! We also love order the avocado toast and whipped feta! Bonnie Day also knows how to make a proper cappuccino… and the pink lemonade is great! (The regular lemonade is also great!) The atmosphere is like a warm, friendly hug from your cool cousin! We highly recommend this place and are grateful that it is in our neighbourhood!

Small space. Loud and hard to have conversation during busy time
We were visiting from Boston for a class in Winnipeg and one of us is celiac. We sat at the bar, great ambiance, warm welcome and the food was flavorful, simple and made with local produce. I wish we had Bonnie Day in Massachusetts. For sure , we will be back at our next visit. The owner is super friendly and nice wine list :)

We went to Bonnie Day to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and wow — what an incredible surprise this place turned out to be. It’s one of those hidden gems that somehow isn’t getting the attention it absolutely deserves and they were open on a Monday night which was a rare find in Winnipeg! Every dish we tried was phenomenal — the whipped feta was heavenly (I’m still dreaming about it), the tuna tataki was perfectly balanced and fresh, and the meatballs were pure comfort with a gourmet twist. You can taste the passion and creativity in every bite. A huge shoutout to our server, Jimmy, who made the entire evening even more special. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and the way he described each dish honestly made the whole experience feel like a bit of food romance. His enthusiasm and attention to detail really elevated the night — he clearly loves what he does, and it shows. Between the cozy, welcoming atmosphere, the amazing food, and the outstanding service, we left already planning our next visit. If you haven’t been to Bonnie Day yet, do yourself a favor and go — this place is truly something special
