We were visiting from Boston for a class in Winnipeg and one of us is celiac. We sat at the bar, great ambiance, warm welcome and the food was flavorful, simple and made with local produce. I wish we had Bonnie Day in Massachusetts. For sure , we will be back at our next visit. The owner is super friendly and nice wine list :)

We went to Bonnie Day to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and wow — what an incredible surprise this place turned out to be. It’s one of those hidden gems that somehow isn’t getting the attention it absolutely deserves and they were open on a Monday night which was a rare find in Winnipeg!
Every dish we tried was phenomenal — the whipped feta was heavenly (I’m still dreaming about it), the tuna tataki was perfectly balanced and fresh, and the meatballs were pure comfort with a gourmet twist. You can taste the passion and creativity in every bite.
A huge shoutout to our server, Jimmy, who made the entire evening even more special. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and the way he described each dish honestly made the whole experience feel like a bit of food romance. His enthusiasm and attention to detail really elevated the night — he clearly loves what he does, and it shows.
Between the cozy, welcoming atmosphere, the amazing food, and the outstanding service, we left already planning our next visit. If you haven’t been to Bonnie Day yet, do yourself a favor and go — this place is truly something special

*Update: I have since received an email in response offering an apology and was told the necessary menu corrections were made.

I went with my friends for brunch and the tea lattes are advertised as $3.50 on their menus. All three of us ordered a chai latte which we found very weak and to have no sweetener. Even my friend who gets one every single week. None of us mentioned anything, just added our own sweetener. We Went to pay and it turned out the lattes were $5.50 instead of $3.50 which was a surprise. When we asked about the price change the employee at the front laughed it off and said “they are definitely not 3.50!”, and “oh there’s SO many typos on that menu!” and “I wish they were $3.50!” Which were all very shocking and frustrating responses... I also would have mentioned that we weren’t enjoying the lattes when we got them had I known we were paying over $5 for them. They didn’t end up honouring the price, no compensation or apology even. I decided to send an email about our experience to notify management and so they could change their menus to reflect their actual prices and I did not get a response. I want to support local but this kind of service is definitely disappointing :(

There was a group of us who went here for lunch. A few of us had the Quiche including me and it was very tasty. Others had soup and said it was very good while others has the avocado toast and egg and another few had the veggie burger. We all enjoyed our food. The veggie burger was a bit spicy so if you don't like spicy foods ask them not to put the spicy mayo on it.

Great food. We had port to warm up. It was chilly and there was a cool draft on the bench area. Very noisy- lovely neighborhood vibe.

A hidden gem in Wolseley. Interesting selection of wine and foods. A good spot for any meal of the day with good service. Very cute patio spot for the summer months. They have a series of cool events I've been meaning to check out but haven't been able to yet.

We celebrated a 40th birthday dinner this summer. It was outside on the patio, it’s a cute patio, great space with a pergola. I’m so glad they could accommodate 20 people!!
The service was fantastic, very attentive staff. They take pride in the food they serve, every dish was filled with fresh ingredients and delicious flavours, everyone loved it.
My favourite is the pizza, you must try a pizza.
The pricing is very affordable, I highly recommend this restaurant.
