The baked goods taste homemade in the best possible way. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. I have developed a weekly (OK, sometimes more than weekly) habit of dropping by. Cannot recommend enough! A true Winnipeg gem!
Their cinnamon buns are unmatched, my favourite bakery in all of Winnipeg, and honestly, my favourite place out of every other bakery I have tried anywhere else in Canada. After moving to New Brunswick for school, I found myself saying more than once to my friends "these cinnamon buns are okay... but they having nothing on the Tall Grass ones". This bakery totally deserves a 5-star rating. The breads, cinnamon buns, cookies, muffins, wild rice bannock buns, all made with fresh and healthy ingredients, are incredibly delicious. I don't live in the area, but make special trips into the city just to buy their products.
