I’ve lived in Winnipeg all my life but I have never gone to Velvet Glove but afternoon tea with the Grinch was too fun to pass up! Incredible service, drinks, pastries and photo ops with the Grinch were a very memorable addition to the holiday season.

The Boxing Day Buffet was spectacular!!
Ugly sweater theme was a very cute idea.
The display of everything was incredible.
Amazing food, they had everything you could think of, Oysters, shrimp, eggs Benny, variety of breads, cheeses, meats, sausage, bacon, a freshly cooked turkey at 10:30am!!
The kids corner was very creative and the desserts were displayed beautifully and tasted so good.
Our server was fantastic, it was a wonderful...

We tried it for a fondue Christmas experience and it was very nice. The soup was honestly the best soup I’ve ever had, and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. The only issue was that the chairs weren’t very comfortable
