Good food, very expensive for what you get.

Amazing food and great service. I was skeptical about the prices at first, but it was very much worth it. Book in advance if you'd like to have a private room reserved for a more quiet atmosphere

The Spicy Mango prawns were delicious, I would order them again in a heartbeat. The shrimp tempera was hands down the worst I have ever experienced, and I order it a lot at different restaurants. It was soggy and the shrimp was extremely small. The waitress, although good, was spread out at too many tables resulting in longer then acceptable waits.Parking: Ample free parking

Food always good, went for Happy Hour, beware of the bill, me and my friend split the bill, we ordered 3sake for Happy Hour, the whole service wasn't pleasant, we have to ask other servers for help as our waitress didn't really check on us. When we were leaving, we told the waitress we ordered 3 sake for HH, she was unwilling to help us. I never felt so mistreated. From HH 3 X $10 , we only ordered 2 regular price 2x$20 . We end up paid 1 X $10 , 4 X $20. It's not even the money, it's the attitude that the waitress didn't remember our order and unwilling to look into it, stood there just made us pay. Make sure you settle your bill by Happy Hour before continue staying for regular price menu.

Such a beautiful location. The food was delicious! The atmosphere lends itself to larger groups as well as more intimate dining. I will definitely be back again ?

This place is starting to look run down. The seats in the lounge are torn up. Boxes are visible behind the bar and mops and cleaning supplies are also left lying around and within sight of dining guests. Lastly, despite very mild temperatures outside, it was freezing cold inside. The first cosmopolitan my sister received was disgusting: far too much lime juice and it tasted like tequila was used by mistake. We sent it back and the second one was better but make no mistake, this is not a sweet cocktail at this establishment. The food was mediocre in taste even if the presentation was nice. I suspect that there may be better items on the menu than the ones we ordered but now I'm a bit skeptical.I'm worried that the Wasabi i used to know and love is slipping. . .

One of my favourite restaurants in Winnipeg. My partner and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary over the weekend at wasabi. We had a reservation and we were seated fairly quickly. The dining room and lounge have a very comforting modern feel. You can even sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs do their magic! Once we arrived to our table, we went over the menu and ordered some of our favourites as well as some of the servers recommendations. We ordered the honey plum tuna, salmon carpaccio, truffle broccoli, mango prawns, as well as a couple sushi rolls. The plates are smaller portions. “Tapas like” Our plates arrived one after another. From the presentation to the flavours of each plate. Everything was superb. The honey plum tuna was the star for me. The tuna melted in your mouth and the sauce underneath accompanied the tuna perfectly. The two sushi rolls we ordered (crazy 88 and dynamite) were very fresh and tasty. Overall, the experience was great. The food is on the $$$$ pricer side, but the quality, service and ambiance is worth it! We look forward to coming back soon!

Food was amazing. A big shoutout to Chef RJ for the amazing dishes. Edamame was bomb. Probably one of my favourite dishes we had. The flavouring on it was amazing. Ambiance and service was alright. The server didn’t seem to attentive and didn’t check up on us frequently.
