This place is starting to look run down. The seats in the lounge are torn up. Boxes are visible behind the bar and mops and cleaning supplies are also left lying around and within sight of dining guests. One of my favourite restaurants in Winnipeg. My partner and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary over the weekend at wasabi. We had a reservation and we were seated fairly quickly. The dining room and lounge have a very comforting modern feel. You can even sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs do their magic! The Spicy Mango prawns were delicious, I would order them again in a heartbeat. The shrimp tempera was hands down the worst I have ever experienced, and I order it a lot at different restaurants.
