Everything was really good, had the softshell crab, deluxe tempura, salmon otoro, unagi, and OMG roll… except I only ended up ordering the OMG roll because I got the volcano roll first, was the most disgusting sushi roll I’ve ever had it was DRENCHED in mayo and then they torched it, and it tasted like butane. Couldn’t taste anything else besides butane flavoured mayo, it made me nauseous. The waiter was very nice about it and replaced it for free with the OMG roll. And...
Best Sushi in Winnipeg. My server, Colby was excellent. Answered my questions and listened to my concerns about wasabi heat etc and made great recommendations for something new I had never tried, but I have to say I really enjoyed. The food was far and away superior to any other Sushi restaurant I have been to in Winnipeg. Great variety and interesting options on the menu. Prices are slightly higher but when you consider what you’re getting it’s well worth it. Highly recommend...
Awesome place for high end sushi. Sit at counter and you can watch them make your rolls and chat up the chefs it's pretty awesome. Will make you any type of drink you want. Also will make a sushi if you like it a certain way. On a night or when you are not in a rush it's just soak it all in taste the flavor. If you live with a sushi nut( ugh gf) then you'll keep coming back. New style sashimi super tasty.
