We have enjoyed their service since 2007 when at that time they were known as the " Polynesian restaurant ". We enjoy the szechuan soup, deep fried shrimp and honey garlic sauce, steam veggies, spring rolls and plum sauce. I think it really depends on your particular tastes or palate.

Used to come here all the time growing up,or have delivery or takeout. When my parents switched places I was definitely not happy. So far to get there but once in a while its good for a trip down memory
Cold and soggy by the time it arrived. Full of breading.

We ordered Singapore style vermicelli spicy , beef lo mein and dry breaded veal today from wok house on portage Ave . Food was aweful! My husband ate Singapore style vermicelli only because he was starving and could not wait for me to whip up something else for him lol , me I had 2 mouthfuls of the beef lo mein and knew no matter how hungry I was I was not eating this flavourless mess . The veal was a soggy mess . I must admit we do have high standards when it comes to our Chinese food and our very fussy and were very disappointed when our favourite place was still on there yearly 1 month vacation back to China and had to order from here, never again !! Live and learn should have had pizza ! Wasted $45

Went there for a dine-in with my friends this week and everything was good. From spring rolls to shrimp fried rice, curry chicken and sizzling pepper beef, all of it was delicious! (Not life-changing or anything, but certainly tasty, and left us all satisfied)On all honesty, I was a bit apprehensive over the bad reviews, but it seems like the restaurant has changed since those people’s experiences.

Food is not bad and apparently they warm up dishes before serving and not make it freshly. But the price is not so expensive, comparable to the food quality. When I went in, no one was there, only take out orders.

We ordered take out for my granddaughter’s birthday and I was surprised at the number of negative reviews. We ordered six different dishes and we all thought the food was delicious. I saw people complained about chicken balls and deep fried shrimp being soggy as they came already in the sauce. We just ordered it asking for deep fried with sauce on the side and it was so good. The batter was crisp and not doughy and the shrimp were fresh and plump. Their dried veal was delicious. There was not one complaint from any of us and we will definitely order from them again.
