“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars“

The chicken was very flavorful and the sauce. The rice is always cooked perfect. I was inquiring about the spice level and The Gentleman that took my order was very nice to allow me to sample before purchasing.“
