The workers didn't give me a hard time about not even opening my sandwich to check before coming back in to ask about it, though they should've cuz I was in the wrong. “I went there with 3 of my kids after a soccer tournament. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our waitress Samantha was kind and quick to take our order and anything needed while we ate. Chris ( another worker or perhaps manager there) slipped me a piece of paper asking if it was okay to surprise my kids with ice cream after they ate. I also noticed a special needs woman in the booth next to me who had ordered, then asked a dessert to be removed from her order because she said " she could not afford it". I saw that the staff comped her dessert and treated her with kindess and respect. All around I was impressed with the staff, their caring nature. The food was also great! If we are in the area for a tournament, I will defintely come back.“

“We returned to the Bayou after 18 months of Covid precautions and it was wonderful! Although I usually get seafood or other items, I tried the flank steak. It was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. My dining partner said he had some of the best fried oyster that he had ever tasted. We shared a bottle of wine and celebrated a great night out! Our server was attentive, but not overly so. The portions were very large. Overall a great time and well worth it!“

“We love this place and eat there whenever we want a good meal. Their crabcake dinners are delicious! It's a casual place but the food is very good, as well as the service! And you can get pizzas, subs, steak sandwiches, or dinners as take out too. On our last visit, they were in the process of installing ice cream freezers, which I'm sure will be a big hit! Highly recommend!“
