I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was spectacular. Decor and ambiance are elegant yet understated. I had a pear martini that was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The bread and dipping oil is worth being fat for. For dinner I had the short rib bolognese and also tried my friend’s squid ink pasta with shrimp as large as my fist. Both were divine. Positano Ristorante & Pizzeria offers an elegant yet understated decor and ambiance. The pear martini is one of the best cocktails. The bread and dipping oil is worth being fat for. The short rib bolognese and the squid ink pasta with shrimp are divine. The beef carpaccio appetizer is good, with good quality beef, fresh rocket, and very tasty toast points. The margherita pizza has perfect doneness and just the right amount of char and blistering on the cornice. The white pizza (fig / pig) has excellent flavor, though the bake missed the mark slightly. The pizza crust is exceptional for structure and flavor. The oven runs at about 750 degrees. The service is prompt, speedy, attentive yet not overbearing, though one visit had very slow and inattentive service. The food is fantastic and comes out pretty quickly. It is the best pizza in Annapolis.
