The Original pancake House

The restaurant has a cute atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately my experience didn’t live up to expectations. The pancakes were overly dry and taste like cornmeal, which is surprising for a place that specializes in them. As someone who loves pancakes, my family and I were really looking forward to a warm, fluffy meal. Instead, the texture was dense, and the syrup didn’t help bring any flavor to the dish.

I did take out twice in 2 days. My sons is in the hospital here with cancer. Stage 4 Lymphoma and Leukemia. We have loved everything we’ve gotten. The staff is exceptionally helpful, extremely kind, always in a great mood. We can’t wait to eat here in person when he comes home from this round of treatment. Also we will be ordering more from here on his future stays for more chemo, radiation, etc. Thanks so much, Tiffany Brown and Michael Perry

The food did not meet expectations. My girlfriend had monte cristo sandwich with onion rings. She said wasn’t bad, I tried onion ring was ok. I ordered 2 eggs over easy, scrapple, home fries and toast. Home fries were cold and definitely frozen. Absolutely no flavor. Scrapple seemed like had been sitting and reheated, not good. The toast was not even warm and served with a whipped butter mixture, very bland. The waitress was nice and offered fresh home fries to go but we had enough. Will not be eating there again.

Everything was so good , love it , going again!!! If you want something new and different to try , this is it sooooo many options to pick!!! I wish i could try everything.

This is my favorite breakfast restaurant. Food is always delicious, service is excellent, very attentive servers and a friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone!

My family came out to celebrate on Memorial Day and we had a blast. The waitstaff was efficient and very patient with our large party full of children, and our food came out perfect and surprisingly fast. I’d absolutely bring my family back again.

Came early morning before shopping and the food was great. Service was also fast and staff friendly ! Will be coming back soon.

First of all many tables available but I had to wait about seven minutes before I was greeted and seated, tables was not clean, the greeter placed the menu on top of the table over top of the sticky mess that was there so I noticed it when I tried to flip the menu, waitresses came over and took my order while doing so I made sure she saw that the table wasn’t clean but she never did anything about it, I ordered a simple bacon egg and pancakes meal and I was totally disappointed with all. How do you mess up eggs? Straight Nasty, and the pancakes were awful too, taste like they had hair in them, sickened me for the rest of the day, I’ll never eat there ever again and I don’t recommend eating there.

Love the Skillets and crepes! Been here three times, and had excellent and prompt service each time. Friendly servers, good food, and a quiet area of the mall.

Upon entering, the initial impression was a bit off-putting, as staff members seemed to look on without offering to seat me, despite it not being busy on a weekday after the 9 a.m. rush.
The food itself was adequate, featuring typical pancake house offerings like eggs, bacon, sausage, various pancake flavors, and hash browns. However, I found it to be on the pricier side for breakfast.
If you find yourself in the Annapolis mall area on a weekday morning, particularly when schools are in session, it might be worth a visit. Later in the day, however, the increasing foot traffic, which contributes to what I see as a general decline in the mall experience (a trend common to many malls), makes it less appealing.

Good customer service but food was bland. Not much flavor at all. Would I go again? Unfortunately not.

Great coffee. Great service. Disappointed with the Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was definitely NOT Hollandaise.
