my husband and I went there on May 24th and you had to go to the register and place your own order and pay prior to receiving your food. needless to say we did not leave a tip at that point. we both ordered the cream chipped beef with toast and my husband also ordered the sausage gravy with biscuits. not sure what kind of herbs they put in the cream chip beef but it was not very good at all plus they also added so much pepper it was almost inedible we ate what we could and left...read full review
Fantastic lunch today! We really enjoyed our sandwiches and garlic Parmesan fries! The avocado on the BLT was perfect and the fig ice cream was fantastic! Jeremiah is a treasure! Nice little spot to have a great meal!

Martha's Cafe is a small, quiet, and charming spot that offers delicious food and friendly service. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a vintage feel reminiscent of the 1930s to 1950s. It is known for its healthy-sized portions, with dishes like the Brisket Cheesecake and Shrimp Wrap being popular choices. The staff is attentive and welcoming, creating a warm environment ideal for groups. The limited menu features a Baltimore Cheesesteak, and the homemade ice cream, including flavors like lavender earl Grey and fig, is highly recommended. The garlic Parmesan fries are tasty, although some say they are cooked just a little too long. The venue is well maintained and very clean, with handicap accessibility despite its small size. Prices are fair, around $15-20 per person. Martha's partners with local farms and artists, supporting the community and providing fresh, tasty food. It’s a great place for brunch or lunch, especially after the movie, and the ongoing remodeling of the basement promises more event space in the future.
