Being GF things get tricky so I have to say, anytime I have any questions about syrups or new flavors being gluten-free, Kai is always the first one to go grab the bottle and read the ingredients. Kai has always been super helpful when it comes to helping me figure out drinks, when I want to try something new. Also this location has the cutest cups!

1. They ALWAYS acknowledge & welcome me in all forms of waking up. I’ve come in looking ROUGH from working nights & never felt any sort of judgement…
2. They both generally treat me & my seven year old with such kindness & respect EVERY SINGLE TIME we go in…
3. Kai & Stephen know my drinks & style - I am always a “light on the syrup” & “not too sweet” human & they both remember that, ask me if I wanted it half sweet if I don’t mention it up front …
4. It’s not an easy job & on days where things go wrong or people are rude, both Kai & Stephen recognize anyone waiting, bring the zen & get their job done …. No drama
5. I have lived in DC & NYC for many years & these two people in particular HUSTLE! I don’t see a lot of younger people hustling around Annapolis & I can’t imagine what Kai or Stephen are capable of in any field.
6. I am not one who posts a lot of reviews, but someone out there needs to read this & know there are at least two incredible people working over at the Safeway Starbucks in Arnold who deserve recognition.

I usually never have complaints but I was completely ignored by the employee, he was actively attending other customers at the moment as well. I would’ve understood if he told me it was going to take a minute or at least let me know he was closing early. I was the only one left in line and I was completely dismissed.

Just watched the young lady blow her nose and go up inside with a finger from each hand and proceed to make drinks. I said something to the young man and he said something to her to wash her hands and she ignored him and went about making drinks and touching everything. I left and informed the manager as well.
