TL;DR: Very tasty; lovely ambiance/music/design; kind and attentive service
We got edamame, miso soup, shumai, hot sake, and shared 1 Nassau and 1 Spicy 2-in-1 Roll
Excellent for the sushi, sake, sauces, and soup (did I order this series of meals for alliteration’s sake? Did I use “sake” as a pun? Who can say)
I thought the edamame was MAAAAYBE a little under salted and over cooked. Emphasis on “a little”
Man this place is beautiful. I personally deplore TVs in restaurants because I find them hypnotic, but those aside it’s a super lovely atmosphere.
Would have taken pictures but devoured the food too quickly.
Highly recommend!
Clean, friendly staff, food very good.
Absolutely repulsive ! I've never had worse Sushi in my 30 years of life . Never have I ever wasted a dollar so disgustingly . I've never knew you could make a spicy tuna roll nasty . Then another specialty roll that taste like wet cardboard Like a roll of cotton balls that sat in the fridge absorbing moisture from fish and cheesecakes 🤢🤮
Also it should not take 30 minutes to roll to sushi rolls and there's 2 designated men at the Sushi station . Smh clearly I'll never be back .
Idc what anybody says those workers in there are racist i just hope the truth comes to light
Stopped here for a quick bite, sat at the bar with my partner. It took a while to move every step, from ordering to closing the tab. It wasn’t very crowded inside but I could tell they were slammed with takeout orders and noticed many people waiting a while for that. Certainly seemed short staffed. From sitting at the bar it took about 20+ minutes to get an order of seaweed salad that we ordered as an app.
However, the food was great. Fresh, plentiful, and tasty. Very unique special rolls which I’d like to try more of. And staff were generally pleasant.
There’s a lot going on inside — it’s super bright, the decor makes little sense, stacked bar, too much music and clutter. Kinda reminded me of an airport restaurant.
I enjoy the lunch specials here. I really appreciate the fact that the salad has actual greens in it and not just iceberg lettuce! Shrimp tempura rolls are excellent, katsu is quite good too.
Lunch service is almost always fast, the specials are well priced, and the food is tasty, especially the hot and sour soup.
Decent sushi in the Rotunda complex. They seem to do mainly takeout, in part because the modern decor and higher ceilings don't create a very cozy atmosphere. There's a full bar, and the staff are efficient but seem to be overworked at times.
I ordered three types of tuna sushi and it is the best sushi I have had in a long time. I would highly recommend it.
Ordered 6 rolls and they were SHOVED into 2 containers. Made the sushi very messy. This was also to share between 2-3 people, nobody enjoyed it because there were cooked rolls placed with raw rolls in addition to it being messy. My shrimp tempura rolls were falling apart.. additionally, some came with out rolls! It was just the shrimp tempura. Very disappointed because over $70 was spent here and we threw most of it away.

Incredibly poor customer service received here by all the staff in the restaurant. Sat at the bar and waited over 20 minutes to be greeted as the bartender continuously ignored me behind the bar; still was never greeted properly, only asked at the end “Do I want to order” with full disgust on the bartender’s face. Another customer came after me and was greeted immediately. Also, every Google review is mentioning food poisoning as well. Do not eat here. They do not value their customers nor proper food safety. This staff openly shows their prejudice and bias.

Today, I went in for takeout lunch. I paid at the host's desk. The food took a little time to come out, so I decided to stay and eat because I would have even less time to eat at my office. I conveyed this to the host, who annoyingly said to me, "Sit at the bar." No problem. While eating, you could tell the host and the sushi chef were talking about me. They forgot phones have translators. Upon leaving the sushi chef came over with a very aggressive tone telling I needed to leave a tip. I looked at him and told him it was rude in the manner he did it. Then he proceeded to yell across the restaurant while I was leaving "YOU NOT LEAVING TIP".
Sad thing I love sushi and I was planning to go back with some friends. That decision is no longer. People do not know who is coming into their restaurant and need to conduct themselves accordingly I will stick with restaurants that do not bully you for a tip.

Mango salad was delicious. I could probably eat it a few times a week. They give a decent amount of food for the price point. This will probably be my go to for rolls!

Yall, I can’t stress this enough. This place is amazing, and I don’t play when it comes to sushi.
I got their plainview roll which oh my god, delicious. New favorite roll.
Prices are reasonable, clean spot and service is great as usual.
Highly recommend!! Only downside is parking is nuts which, that’s always been an thing in Rotunda area.

Fresh sushi, with slight sense of fusion (with fresh tricolor included in sushi). Good portion size. Were the only guest no problem with service.
