This bar is a great place to unwind and enjoy a relaxed evening. The drinks are affordable, and the food is consistently delicious. It can get a bit slow during busy hours, but it’s worth the wait. Special shoutout to Megan! She’s fantastic! Nights with Megan are always a highlight. Highly recommend!

Usually when i go to a place and i havent been in ages, it usually means it was bang average. I decided to give this place another try since its down the street. The deviled eggs were good. My husband and I have lived in Baltimore all our lives and why is that we are just discovering all of local gems in City. Well, discovered another one. The 29th Street Tavern!!!!!🤩 The atmosphere is warm and cozy as well as inviting. Thank you Marie for being Fabulous and the other bartender (I didn’t get his name 😳)Apparently, they have a night for wings, a night for cheesesteak subs, etc. Happy hour ends at 6pm. Outside of these specials they have great prices. We will now be frequenting this spot from now on!!! Their wings are delicious 🤤!!!! A Baltimore Best foodie spot!’

Sat at the bar and the blonde, short-haired bartender was extremely rude to my friend and I. Ignored us for over 5 minutes after we sat down bc she was talking to other guests (I get it, but please drop us some waters). another bartender took care of us. when we paid, she aggressively took our cards when we asked to split the bill by the literal 2 items (TWO items) rather than in half bc of the price difference. Threw our cards and check back at us and gave us dirty looks as we walked out. She also refused to speak to us after we asked for the split checks.

I’ve been here a million times. Not sure what’s going on. We didn’t interact with her at all until payment. There’s no excuse for that

Terrible!!!!

Felt stared at and suspected the entire time. I usually give GREAT tips. This time, I just paid my tab but gave small tip because I believe the stares may have been racially motivated.

If you're Black or noticeably darker skinned, I wouldn't recommend.

BUT, the food was actually great.....I believe their cook is Black....its just, you'll be stared at of you're Black as if they expect you to run off without paying the bill or something.

It was a horrible feeling......but go at your own risk.
