Inexpensive and delicious! Food doesn’t take long and appetizers/entrees are spaced out well. 10/10 - my favorite aloo gobi in Baltimore. I order takeout all the time, but the physical space in the restaurant is also super cute!
Fantastic place. The lunch buffet had many options for meat eaters and vegetarians and they made the naan to order. Highly recommend and you can’t beat it at $15
The food was well seasoned and spiced. All of the flavors melded together and made the proteins stand out. The naan was thin, hot and you could tell it was handmade. I had the chicken korma hubby had the chicken chaat and vegetable samosa and he tried the fruit and nut naan and we shared the gulab jamun at the end. Everything was phenomenal. Everything!
5 stars from us! Go go go you won't regret it!
Excellent in every way! Thank you!
Highly recommended for this restaurant authentic Indian test very good restaurant very good service. Very good people very good food love it.
Really easy, you did all of this
Not enough options or quantity of food for the buffet
A classic for a reason
We had a lunch buffet at Akbar: starter wasn't that great - bit oily. One of pakoda was salty. Dal, Rice, Garlic Naan, chole, gulab Jamun was hit. One of the guests in our group tried chicken gravy - it was good. Overall 3.5 Star.
Had a wonderful date night dinner at Akbar. Chicken Vindallo and Chicken Tiki Masala. Both were well prepared and delicious.

The food was great. I really enjoyed the food. And I will say the service was also good. I did not plan my timing very well so that we could make it to a show we had tickets for. So, while we were enjoying our appetizers, we asked if we could have our entrees to go instead. They accommodated us with no problems.
poor below poor the daal makhni was watery, tikka masala was all gravy unfinished.

I hadn't been here in years, but I'm glad I dropped back in! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's got a nice cozy vibe down in the basement. Everything we ordered was delicious; the star was the Chicken Xacuiti - I could have licked the plate if I wasn't so full!
