The host sat us at a table that was oddly placed by a double door that opened to the outside where it was 22 degrees so there was a constant draft. The restaurant was not busy. The table was also next to a server station which had a bright light, serving trays within arms reach and constant movement.
My crab chowder was good and hot but it had obviously been under the heat lamp a while and the top of the soup had dried to a soft crust. The pretzel with pimento and crab dip was not thoroughly heated so the center was cold. Our experience was very much sub par.

My husband and I spent the night at the Marriot and decided to try their restaurant in the lobby. The host Antwon was amazing, very friendly and helpful. As well as the gentleman behind the bar. Other than that our experience was not the best. Food overall was great. Unfortunately for the service was not the best. From start to finish we felt rushed. Before we even finished our appetizers our dinner was served and not even 10 minutes later our dessert was served as well. We were not even able to finish our dinner so we decided to take the rest up to our room. The server never came around to see if we needed refills on our drinks and promptly dropped off the check the second boxes were put on our table. Really disappointing considering we spent well over $100 on dinner.

Food served was cold. Service was very poor. Will not recommend any one to arrange a special dinner at Apropoe’s at waterfront Marriott Baltimore Maryland.

The service is good, but the food is expensive yet pretty bad. I ordered a steak, medium, for $51. It arrived in minutes. I took a couple of bites: it was cooked but lukewarm, even cool in some spots. This was the first time in my life I ever sent food back. They brought me a completely new steak, no questions asked. That steak was lukewarm to cold, too. The waiter seemed genuinely concerned whether I was happy, so he brought me a third steak: a much thinner and fattier cut — that was rare and lukewarm. Photos are of the first and third steak.

I have also had breakfast here twice. The eggs are fine, but they burned my toast, and both sausages and bacon were almost inedible (way too salty and too hard, respectively).

The place, ambiance, and food were good. The only problem was the soup that we ordered was served along with our main entree. We were hoping to have some soup first before the main entree to keep our entree hot. The servers were all hospitable.

The crab pizza and salmon fillet were delicious. The pizza is more like a flatbread. The restaurant was not full, but had to get someone to find the hostess. The bar is quite good also, both of our cocktails were well made. The prices are a bit steep, not unusual for a hotel (great rooms too), but least the food was much better than typical hotel fare. I'd go back just for a meal.

Atmosphere was nice. Food was good- a bit cold. Server forgot my food twice and my drink once. I asked for silverware and had to go get my own because no one got me any. They also closed out our tab without asking us if we were ready or not

Ordered takeout because I was staying at the hotel. It wasn't very good at all and $4 for a can of soda? Stop it. The host was nice though.

Great place!
The server was attentive, unobtrusive, and overall great.
The Chesapeake Crab Pizza was delicious! Reccomend!

I wish they’d offer a good craft ginger ale instead of Seagram’s, but don’t let that slow ya down.

I really wanted to love this restaurant! But that was not meant to be. Unfortunately the prices are moderately high and quality/service is ‘fair' at best. The restaurant was not crowded and our server seemed preoccupied and inattentive. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop which was sous-vide prepared and then seared. It was lukewarm upon arrival and the plate was embarrassingly sparse. I was excited for what was described as sautéed apple/fennel...in reality was 2 apple slices and 1 piece of fennel on top of the chop. I ordered a side salad to bulk it up. Black garlic Caesar salad - romaine was sloppily prepared with ends of lettuce on the plate and the dressing was 100% from a bottle. My dining partner ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which looked very nice and came with an abundance of fries, but that too was unfortunately lukewarm. Not a place I'd recommend.

Nice hotel bar and restaurant. Yummy salad and salmon. Dessert was way too sweet for me... but Bartenders are so so nice and attentive. A bit on the pricey side, but nice vibe gere during work trip.
