This is good bar in the ulysses Hotel. Every time I’ve come, it’s been near empty which is a bummer because the drinks are drunk and the food is good.
Being that it is not very packed, that affects the atmosphere which means you have the bring the energy you want to have in this bar. The music is low, the lighting is very comfortable but I can’t say it’s a very “fun” bar. It’s a good bar in a very nice hotel. The bartender is great!

In my opinion this is the nicest, classiest bar in Baltimore. It’s so beautiful inside. Hard to take it all in. Beautiful marble. A beautiful piano. Great drinks and all at a really shockingly good price. The color scheme is so lush. And while it feels remarkably upper class I always felt comfortable no matter what I was wearing.

I used to love going there for weekend brunch but they suddenly stopped it. They recently announced they’re launching new hours and menus but no additional information can be found online and they’re not responding to people’s questions on their Instagram post making the announcement.

Cool and funky atmosphere, great for a date or family or friends. Excellent food. We had a dinner and a breakfast. Eggs Benedict with crab cakes were otherworldly. Steak perfectly cooked. Bagel platter very generous!
Parking: Call ahead and get the address of the pay lot on Charles. Very close and safe. We parked for 3 days in and out, no problem at all.

Five stars for Ash Bar at Hotel Ulysses! The vibes are absolutely incredible, with an art deco ambiance that possibly channels Palm Royale vibes. The atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxing evening or a lively night out. The cocktails are top-notch, and the service is impeccable. A must-visit spot for anyone looking for a memorable experience!

I really, really enjoyed my solo lunches with a book at a quiet table in the corner at Ash-Bar. I almost always ordered the nova salmon platter and it was always perfect. It seems like a simple thing - a bagel, cream cheese, salmon, and some toppings - but simple is easy to mess up and yours was delicious. The servers were super kind and attentive, and of course the atmosphere is a welcome, peaceful retreat for an hour during the work day.All this is to say - I am sad you're not doing lunch anymore. There are too few good places to go for lunch in Mount Vernon. I know lunch is a hard market, but there are a lot of offices around here. Please consider opening back up for lunch! :)

If they’d responded as they should then it wouldn’t have been an issue.So, they lost the business of 20 something real estate-oriented professionals that needed to unwind after a long day. We went to The Owl Bar which, of course, never fails to welcome us with open arms!

Came here for my sister in law’s birthday last night. It did take long to get our food, BUT baby when that food came out every single thing was impeccable!! She had a three course menu selected, and I had the greens salad, pan seared chicken, and cheesecake. The salad was light and very fresh, and the citrus dressing was the perfect balance. The chicken was the most tender and flavorful chicken I think I’ve ever had , and the sides were equally delicious! The cheesecake was the chef’s kiss!! It had real fresh berries, the crust melted in your mouth, just delightful! The service was also great!! So glad we found this gem!

Definitely do not recommend! We tried reaching out for a month via their website & phone but no one would ever reach back out. So on the night of our company happy hour, we show up & the bartenders inform us they can’t accommodate us, that for a party over six we would need to reach out to their sales manager! We informed them that we had been trying to for a month via website and phone with no response. They didn't apologize, offer any solutions- just turned around as if we were not standing there.Due to their ineptness, they lost the business of 20 something real estate oriented professionals that needed to unwind after a long day and I can assure you we will NEVER return after this experience.
