We stopped here for dinner while visiting Baltimore and we really enjoyed how fresh the sushi was. Our waitress was sweet and the food came out quickly.

First time visiting Avenue Sushi. I tried the spicy tuna mango roll and the philly roll with avacodo added to it. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious, made just right! Staff was friendly and helpful, and my carryout order was prepared in just a few minutes.

Recently moved to Baltimore and was nervous to find a new sushi spot but I found it! I loved the Volcano Roll and my partner ordered the Raven Roll. It was incredible. I will say the parking situation is a bit stressful and if you park across the street, it is quite dangerous crossing the road. Very clean establishment.

Great food. If you order in they have a hot pot which is divine. Also have non sushi options. A good place to have on the Avenue corridor.Place is BYOB so you could grab something from Off the Roc and bring it over. They will provide chilled glasses.

We've been here before, and we keep returning. I frequently bring a sizable group here for a sushi meal. The ambiance of the establishment was excellent, and the restaurant did a wonderful job of reserving room for our group. We had quite a wide range of meals, and the food arrived very quickly. Most items were good and beautifully presented. Personally, I enjoy the canton roll! The question now is why do they only received three stars from me? It is because based on my observations, they lost their consistency. There are instances when the quality is good, but the following time it isn't. It is on the more expensive side, which was fine until the quality started to match that of grocery store brands.

We got there around 2 pm, still in time for the lunch specials, and the place was empty! We sat at the bar because we like to watch the sushi chef work, but with only three of us and only two ordering sushi, there wasn't much of a show. We got katsu, seaweed salad, tempura, and sushi. The chicken katsu was right on the edge of being overcooked. The seaweed salad was mostly shredded cucumber, so the seaweed flavor was quite diluted. The tempura was good and the sushi was just okay, nothing special at all. Service was fine and the place was clean but we've had better sushi so we won't be back.

Great local sushi! Very polite staff and nice, clean restaurant. I had the sushi combo - amazing, and my partner had the Patterson Park Roll - also great! Miso was excellent, some of my favorite. I didn't take advantage of the byob this time but will remember for my next visit!

This is the only place I order sushi from in the city since it’s always amazing! I usually end up getting ramen and the tuna appetizer too because I can’t decide and they are all so delicious and perfectly spicy!

WOW, I had been driving down all the way to fells for sushi before this past Saturday. If you love small dine in sushi restaurants this is the place. Man vs Pho used to occupy this space but post covid this little gem popped up in its place. The sushi rolls are great, selection vast and the lunch combos are very affordable. I did however have a bit of an awkward ordering experience, I had never been so asking for drinks, to order and for soy sauce was a little different. But hey now I know ! I have not had a chance to try all the sushi options but I am very excited to make this my new goto local place, walking distance and friendly staff make Avenue Sushi a low key sushi date spot.

Disappointed! I placed a carryout order online with a scheduled pick up of an hour later. We live across the street and typically order sushi 1-2 times a week, so while this was our first order, I was hoping this would be be a new favorite. I'm torn on giving this review 2 v. 3 stars. The Good: Food was ready and brought out curbside promptly. Everything was packaged beautifully and staff was upbeat and courteous. The beef was high quality and lean. The food presentation was good. Sushi rolls were large. Delicious veggies in the bibimbop. Prices seem fair for the quality and portions. The bad: THE SALT!!!! The veggies in all the veggie rolls were incredibly salty, but the mushrooms must have absorbed the most salt as the shitake rolls were barely edible because of how salty they were. The beef in the bibimbop also was too salty too and was a much smaller portion than I expected, even for the $15 price.

This is my new go-to sushi spot. It's always fresh and the prices aren't bad. Their miso soup is good too.

Best sushi in the area! I've only ordered delivery, but the fish is so fresh every time. The canton roll is my favorite!
